Suggested I switch to a cheaper provider, who was very underhanded. The new supplier took TWO MONTHS payments on day one before I had even submitted my first readings. They said it was in the welcome pack attached to the email they sent... But it was ONLY in the attachment which I hadn't realised was important. It said nothing to indicate that they were taking that much upfront on the site or in the main body of the email. Needless to say I 'flipped' back, but had to do all the leg work and calls myself as I was just outside of the cooling off period. Definitely would NOT recommend.

Hi, how can you resolve my situation. when i checked weflip stated it was cheaper, when in fact it wasnt. An objection was raised and i quickly terminated my DD with the new supplier. Now it turns out my dual fuel has been split between the two suppliers. i have an email from you stating my switch was cancelled yet one of my fuels was switched.

Weflip has not found me the best price fuel provider as within the first month Igloo has insisted on me paying an extra £30 per month. I’m now letting Compare the market do my switching as they have found a genuinely cheaper provider & they actually allow you to compare the single Khw price & standing charge with your current provider details & your new potential provider details - a much better comparison site

I saw the 'WeFlip' advert on the tv and thought I'd give it a go. Took me a few minutes to find my utility bills to get the information needed - and that was the hardest bit about it. Entered all the details, saving £150 a year - really pleased. Also, the company we have switched to is a green supplier so we're really pleased about that too. Having looked at other reviews, clearly some people have had issues, but for me, it's been great. Thank you!

Don't do it ! I joined weflip to save money but will do my own price comparisons in future as it just cost £60 for exit fees to British Gas as they flipped me a month early before my existing deal ended. You would have thought they would have waited. Not a happy customer.

Weflip found me incredible cheap tarrifs with a company called ToTo, the website was easy to use and monthly online bills were the best I have experienced, but alas just 3 months later - the dreaded government green tax" killed off another small company. I will have to wait to see who the regulator will be transferring me to as my new supplier

Found me a 3 month fixed term deal which ended in May and was expecting them to find me a new contract before that finished. Unfortunately this didn't happen and I was left back where I had been previously, sorting it out myself. Was also promised an Amazon Gift voucher once my first payment with my new supplier had gone through. Guess what? Yes you guessed correctly no voucher. I wouldn't normally rate things but they sent me an email to say they would give £10 to Shelter if I left a review. I'm wondering whether they will hold up to this? Good idea but but so good in practice I'm afraid.

I switched to save, however they didn't switch both my supplies but instead charged me the same for one, leaving me to pay the same with my other, costing me an additional £50 a month. I raised a complaint, contacted many many times and no reply. They didn't even honour their offer of an Amazon gift card to switch either! They didn't even tell me that 2 payments would come out in the first month! No one called me back, no one replies - now i have to take my case to the ombudsman!

Watch out.I signed up. Interested in giving this new idea a try as it may help force energy companies to look after their customers and be more competitive.I found a quote on weflip with utility point that saved me about £30 per month. Worth it right?So I entered all my info, including my direct debit info and waited. The next day I received the welcome email from Utility point and I logged into my new account. Unfortunately, the quote was not what was quoted by weflip. It was more than my existing company.I called utility point. They don’t answer phones. They say they’ll call you back. I emailed Utility Point to cancel the account because 1) they had the amounts wrong and 2) I was in the cooling off period and entitled to cancel for any reason. I emailed weflip and called them too. Nice customer service guy but really I could tell this was going to be a nightmare. He assured me they would contact utility point. I received an email informing me weflip had caneceled the account in my behalf. I later received an email confirmation from utility point saying the same. Done right? No.Four days later a direct debit went out of my account for £244 which is a lot of money for me. It’s really my grocery money for the month. At the same time my existing utility provider also withdrew my normal £120 amount.I contacted weflip. They apologised but apparently can’t do anything. They happily dish out your bank details but ultimately are useless. I’ve sent utility point five emails so far. The first one, I received an apology and promise to refund but nothing. It’s already been two weeks.In the meantime weflip sends me lizard emails thanking me for joining. I’ve asked that they cancel my acccount and delete all my personal information from their system. I dont think they can as the messages keep coming. I hope they don’t pass on my bank details to another utility company.Seriously — beware and stay away. This has been more work than I’ve ever encountered just shopping and doing it myself.I am devoting my evenings for a few weeks to get the message out to the regulator and across all review platforms to prevent this company experiencing any success or any other energy users being victim to this atrocious service.Please be careful.
