The Mill House Venue
I've recently had the pleasure of attending more than one function at this recently refurbished venue. The building is really lovely, with a stunning function room and stylish bar. The food is very reasonably priced and first class, all of our guests were very complementary. There is a range of good quality beers on draft at the bar and an unsually diverse variety of wines to choose from. The staff were at all times extremely attentive and friendly. I really can't recommend Mill House highly enough; by a long chalk it's the go-to venue choice for any event or function in the Clayton-le-Moors area.

Attended a 50th Birthday party. Very nice rooms, good bar area, always kept clean and wiped down, a reasonable selection of drinks. The food was really nice, great selection to suit all diets. I wish I knew who supplied the rolls, they were really fresh and delicious.

2nd time at the Mill House Venue and I'm sure there will be many more visits. Beautiful venue, beautiful quiet setting and garden with a beautiful sunset. Sharon and the staff are so attentive, infact they go above and beyond to accommodate. Myself and a group of friends went for the pizza night, wow the food was delicious, the service was impeccable and the staff are the nicest people. If I could give a higher review i would! Already looking forward to our next visit. You must try this place, you will not be disappointed.

Attended a meeting here ... had the opportunity to sample to coffee and bacon sandwich that was provided .. as far as a function space I'd say it would be ideal for any large gatherings of around 60 people comfortably... with ample parking outside and a nice bar area as soon as you walk in .. I will visit again be a meeting or a private function

Food was incredible, had a burger, pizza, wings and salt’n’pepper fries. All presented beautifully.Atmosphere is great with lovely decor and music at a good volume - can actually hear each other! Staff are fabulous - always smiling and happy to help!

Arranged a 60th Birthday party at The Mill House . Sharon the owner took charge of everything from day 1. Absolutely nothing too much trouble for her and delivered the most amazing memorable night ever . Staff so welcoming and attentive throughout the entire evening .The venue itself is perfectly sized for a party if up to 100 and spaced out and decorated beautifully .What can I say about the food ??!? EXCEPTIONAL !!!Ordered a cake for the occasion and again this was made personally by Sharon herself …….. Lemon and chocolate with a blue tempered icing .OMG OMG beautiful x x xCannot thank Sharon and her staff enough for one of the most memorable nights ever x x xThe MillHouse Venue puts many larger venues to shame x x xMassive thanks again and look forward to the next time x x. I attended the Abba tribute night on Friday. What an absolutely beautiful venue. Would be great for a small bespoke wedding. Lovely staff, nothing too much trouble, great music and lovely food. Really highly recommend this place, we had an amazing night.

The Mill House Venue
The Mill House Venue hosted our Celebration of Life for a close family member. Despite it being a sad day, Sharon and her team made the gathering so pleasant. There was a very welcoming atmosphere and we loved the bright function room. Everything had been prepared beforehand so that the day went smoothly. Sharon easily accommodated our request for more vegetarian food for the buffet and kept food for those with a food intolerance to the side. Everything was clearly labelled and the food was lovely. The projector in the function room allowed us to display our happy memories on screen. Everyone loved it. Thank you to you and your team Sharon, we wish you all the best.
