Love Gusto Cafe Lounge Bar
On the last day of my short getaway to Bournemouth recently, I stumbled on Love Gusto (Café Restaurant Bar) while looking for a place away from the tourist area to eat. It was early on a Tuesday evening, and there were not many customers, so I walked in with no great expectations. I was welcomed by who I assumed to be the owner/manager and another friendly gentleman who I soon discovered was the chef. Love Gusto does not offer the usual pasta dishes one expects in a traditional Italian restaurant, but the menu includes some exciting small-bites options. I opted for the “Fish Delight” (activated black charcoal bun filled with smoked mackerel, pickled onions, rocket, and wholegrain mustard) from the “Homemade Brioche Buns” section with a side order of chips. To my great surprise and immense delight, it was delicious. I was very impressed, and I was still hungry, so I ordered “Veggy Must Be” (beetroot pink bun filled with cherry buffalo mozzarella, sundried tomato, and basil) from the same section with a side order of salad. It was another wonderful eating experience. And two bottles of Moretti beer proved the perfect companion for both dishes. As the chef said, “simple ingredients, but great taste.” Love Gusto’s spacious interior is ideal for relaxing with friends over a few glasses of wine or beer and light and awesome-tasting dishes. I discovered that the restaurant had opened only a week earlier. I highly recommend it to Bournemouth residents and visitors alike, and I wish the restaurant much success.

Love Gusto Cafe Lounge Bar
We just stumbled across this place but I can see it becoming one of our favourites. I've not been so impressed with the quality of food from a small independent restaurant in a long long time. The service was excellent and the value for money was surprisingly good! Staff very friendly. Great party atmosphere on the night as they were hosting someone's birthday.

Took my team out for lunch here today for the 2-4-1 offer and I have to say it was a disappointment.They had a 2-4-1 offer advertised but weren't prepared at all, it took 35 minutes for us to have 1 slice each of pizza (we had another 4 on order) and we had to get back to work.Unfortunately, the reason I am leaving the review is because they offered a table behind us free pizza because of the wait but I ended up paying £34 (5 of us in total) for 1 slice each which isn't really acceptable.The restaurant wasn't busy either and the wait times were really long.Really nice pizza when it came though!

I went out with some friends to check out this new restaurant and it has exceeded my expectations!Easy to reach, the location is elegant but chill, pleasantly sophisticated.We tried various dishes, especially pizzas and I have to admit that made me feel at my hometown (I'm from Naples, so it isn't easy to make me feel like this) and when I discovered that the chef is from Naples too, I understood why the pizza was so appealing and tasty.The staff was handsome and reactive, very good service, with regular waiting times.I had the opportunity to chat with him and noticed how passionate he is, especially how much dedication, effort and study he puts on this to make it happen.Absolutely worth it! Whenever I come back to England, I know where my food pilgrimage must start and must end.

This place is truly a hidden gem. Fabulous steak, cooked to perfection, lovely atmosphere and great service. Made to feel really welcome and will highly recommend. Great price too. Will definitely return to eat here.

First time visit and really enjoyed it . Had the lunchtime special and food was brilliant. Service excellent (true traditional customer service which are hard to find these days) . Will be back again for sure (5 stars all round )

We popped in to use set lunch main deal Fri 8 Sept. Owner was welcoming, food good, house red wine nice and service great. We'll be back.
