Blaenwinllan Boarding Cattery

Undoubtedly the best cattery around run by people who know all there is to know about caring for cats. Having left our two cats with James and Paul numerous times I can guarantee they almost have better holidays than we do! Heated areas, spacious enclosures, ultimate feline care all round. I have always found James and Paul accommodating where possible and appreciate the fact they maintain a routine and require up to date vaccinations, giving peace of mind considering the horror stories of other catteries around. Would never go anywhere else again and highly recommend Blaenwinllan to everyone.

Leaving my cat Disco in a cattery for the first time and for over 5 weeks was a big decision but I had a personal recommendation for Blaenwinllan and it did not disappoint. Pre-visits put any concerns to rest. She was cared for in every meaning of the phrase. Providing full vaccination history gave me peace of mind. Thank you - the wedding was great and next time Disco visits it'll be when I have grandchildren to visit!

Thanks to James and Paul for taking care of Jess whilst I went on holiday. She's 9 years old and I'd never left her in a cattery before. I was able to visit beforehand, it's a very tranquil location. I felt I'd left her in very good hands . They made a note of what food she eats which they then provided . I literally took a little bed for her and her up to date vaccine certificate. She was very chilled when I picked her up and has settled back home immediately. I'd definitely recommend x

A well trusted Cattery provided by extremely experienced owners. Our cat Tiff really enjoys and actually looks forward to staying at Blaenwinllan. She gets real good attention when at the Cattery and looks content when returning home. Highly recommend to whoever wants a reliable home for their cat when away from home.

My cats have been boarding here for over ten years, they are not easy or cooperative cats but they have settled here and over the years have grown to know the owners and relax. The owners are very helpful and they take as much care of them as we would at home. I wouldn't consider another cattery and we live almost 40 miles away.

In all my years as a cattery customer this is quite simply the best I have found. The owners, James & Paul have a very high regard for the welfare & happiness of all their residents. This combined with their thoughtfulness, knowledge & understanding makes an extremely happy place to stay for any feline. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Owners very knowledgeable and helpful and took care of my beloved Tango cat beautifully. Think Tango would have stayed on if it was up to him! Had lovely run and heated sleeping area with lots to keep him occupied. Very clean and fantastic rural setting. Did have to arrange to drop off and pick up Tango during the cattery's opening hours but what do you expect!! owners are entitled to a life as well. Would highly recommend.

I am so delighted that we were recommended to come to this cattery. After 30 years of owning or breeding British Shorthairs and as a fully qualified (now retired) Companion Animal Behaviour Counsellor it is such peace of mind to know that the owners are so deeply caring about their wards and so professional and practical in their attitudes and approach. I have never felt my cats were safer or more cared-for than here. We also know from experience of one of our very elderly boys that should our cats be unwell they could not be looked after with more solicitude, gentleness or kindness. A 5 star review for a five star place that I recommend with total confidence.

Quite the best cattery I have ever come across- and we have travelled around the UK quite a lot! The premises are south facing and surrounded by beautiful grounds. James and Paul are obviously highly knowledgeable and so I knew my elderly cat would be well cared for. So it proved to be when I collected him: he was in wonderful condition! I cannot recommend this cattery too highly.

Wonderful!Paul and James looked after my little kittens beautifully. I have never met such thoughtful and committed cat lovers. My 3 kittens were not just looked after at the cattery, they were loved. The cattery is immaculately clean and organised and I will definitely use Blaenwinllan Boarding Cattery again, my kittens wouldn’t have it any other way.Thank you x
