Langar Hall Hotel & Restaurant

We’ve dined at Langar Hall multiple times over the past 20 years or so. The last time was just a few days ago. It’s just exceptional in every respect. Service and staff are top notch. Attentive and charming with just the right balance of attention and consideration without being overbearing. If anything the food has improved over the years. It was unbeatable in my opinion when we first went - and it’s actually now only gone and improved. Dine here. It’s the Gold Standard. Simple as that.

Thank you yet again for such an absolutely fabulous fine dining experience as we celebratedsuch a special occasion. The food isalways exceptional but particularly delightful yesterday as was the ambience and wonderful professional very personal service.

Excellent food and service, quirky decor, warm and homely, perfect. Soufflé starter is to die for, interesting choice of desserts. Very reasonably priced for what you get.Great option for a celebration with family or close friends, I hope to visit again.

Very impressed with gluten free afternoon tea today. All very high quality, petit fours were delicate, fancy, not your norm gluten free cakes which I was very impressed with. Very good customer service, would recommend from today's experience.

My partner and I recently visited Langar Hall for Sunday lunch and were absolutely blown away by the exceptional food and first-rate service. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and promptly seated in the beautiful and historic dining room.The food was spectacular - everything from the roast beef to the Yorkshire puddings was cooked to perfection. The flavors were incredible and the portions very generous. We enjoyed every single bite.In addition to the amazing meal, the service really stood out. The staff were incredibly attentive, polite, and professional. They made us feel right at home.The peaceful countryside location of Langar Hall was the icing on the cake, providing a relaxing ambiance that perfectly complemented the fine dining experience. The grounds and architecture of this stately home are stunning.I cannot recommend Langar Hall highly enough for a special occasion meal or weekend getaway. Between the phenomenal food, excellent service, and idyllic setting, it delivered one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. My partner and I will certainly be making a return visit soon! It is absolutely deserving of 5 stars.

Wow! Such a lovely lunch from the a la carte menu. Excellent, personable service in a relaxing environment. Six of us dined in style. It was so good that we spent 3 hours here in January 2023, enjoying every minute.

Wonderful! Came with friends for my birthday and loved it from the minute I walked through the door. Buzzing atmosphere, charming, sweet & funny staff and the food… a delight from start to finish

Fine dining done right. 12 of us were in the study for a special occasion. Staff were attentive even tending to the fire on the other side of the room. Only criticism is the staff often chat outside the study room which can get noisy when trying to enjoy a nice dinner

Beautiful location, a short drive from Nottingham, a nice break into the countryside for dinner. Some pleasant grounds to meander through. Staff friendly and welcoming, drinks on the lawn followed by a flavorful meal. Some interesting choices, I could have joyfully enjoyed a little more. Candlelit dinner could be a little brighter to enjoy the presentation, I would like to visit again for lunch or afternoon tea perhaps.
