Liverpool k9 academy (dog training)

Martyn at Liverpool K9 academy is very professional and reliable in everything he does, he’s knowledge on training all kinds of dogs and behaviours is the best I’ve seen, I got my German shepherd (Zero) from him over 2 years ago and he’s been for obedience trying and also other things, I wouldn’t go anywhere els martyn is always on hand over the phone to offer advice once you come away from the training if you have questions. Will be taking zero back to him this year come more training with him! Would recommend him to anyone.

Excellent..A very hyperactive and stubborn German Shepherd pup.. difficult to walk on a lead.Within a few minutes with Martyn, she was completely transformed. An obedient well behaved puppy.Back from her first session, a few hours at home now and still as calm and collected as she was this morning during her lesson.Amazing.

Went to Martyn with my pup who’s really reactive to other dogs and people, within 10 minutes he was like a different dog. Martyn is really knowledgeable and made me feel at ease, gave us loads of information and really knows what he’s talking about. Felt so much better and confident with my dog afterwards- will definitely be going back and definitely recommend

Martyn has the best experience with training dogs. Trained my German Shepard here, we are in full control of our boy and this wouldn’t have been achievable without going to K9 academy. As young first time dog owners me and my boyfriend were apprehensive going to dog training classes with such a big dog but Martyn made us feel very welcome and settled. Would recommend to anyone!

Very knowledgeable and experienced dog trainer. Firstly and most importantly helped us to gain control of our big German shepherd pup who was becoming an all round nightmare but he is now a pleasure to own so Thankyou! Martyn has also helped me to feel confident enough to be able to handle our dog if I was to take him out on my own whereas before I never would have considered even walking him without my partner. He’s now progressing through other areas of training aswell. Highly recommend

I can highly recommend Martyn to help you with any breed of dog or any problems you maybe having with them .Martyn is extremely knowledgeable and patient, he takes the time to listen to you and evaluate your dog , he understands that dogs just like us each have their own personality and quirks and that there isn’t a generic way to train and help your dog reach its full potential.He’s helped me with a variety of problems with different dogs over the years and even if it’s been the same “ problem “ with different dogs he’s found the best way to help that dog understand what is needed from them to push onto better thingsHe also takes the time to explain to you what is happening, why it’s happening and the ways to help , he’s not afraid to go back to the drawing board if plan A doesn’t help and will work his socks off to help you both become the great team your meant to be

Amazing results from the first session!!! After getting to breaking point with our German shepherd and his aggression/reactivity to other dogs we booked in with Martyn. From the minute Martyn took his lead Ollie was a different dog!!! He was able to show us the correct correction needed to alter his behaviour. Extremely knowledgeable trainer and excellent value for money.
