Magic! What an enchanting and beautiful place to be found hidden away in an unusual location. There are so many varieties of plants, flowers and trees to see, it's impossible not to be lost in Mount Pleasant's charm and tangle of pathways. The quirky sculptures integrate themselves cleverly into the landscape (look out for giant metal spiders, wooden wizards, fairies, giant conkers, mermaids and eagles to name but a few). Also a good time to see the gardens is early summer as the laburnum arch is at its best and there are numerous bright blue dragonflies to be seen skimming across the lilly ponds and around waterfalls.Anyone looking for manicured lawns, large restaurant facilities or adventure playgrounds for the children may be disappointed. The facilities are simple, the staff charming and friendly. The grounds and sculptures are the star attraction here and well worth the £7 entry fee.

What an amazing place and on our doorstep too. Spent a good couple of hours here looking at the different zones in the garden. The sculpture are brilliant too. We were told only two people care for this massive garden which is unbelievable as it's very weed free and really tidy. They most definitely worthy of your support. I'm sure a great many locals like us have never been there. Believe me you should !!

It's such a hidden gem of a garden, yet very close indeed to Kelsall with it's nice foodie pubs. There is a carpark and you walk down from there via a lovely grassed path to enter. Almost immediately, you're surrounded by trees and plants. The rhododendrons were in full bloom when we went in May.There is a little cafe too in the shed area by the plant shop outside. It costs £7 per adult. No children to be let to run around the gardens, as there are ponds and they could get lost or fall.No dogs allowed. You get to walk through the plants and totally immerse yourself or spend ages watching the newts and tadpoles and fish in the two ponds. It's not too big, so an hour or two should do it easily, as well as have cake and a drink and maybe buy some of their plants displayed all around the cafe.

Brilliant walk through a variety of plants and sculptures. If you're taking plenty of pics and appreciating the flowers in bloom, you could easily spend a couple of hours. I thought it would just be an oversized garden, but there's a fair bit of land to it, it is on a gentle hill so not sure how well those really bad on their legs would fare . We were warned that the meadows wouldn't be in bloom yet, but it turned out to be lovely even before then. Just note that while I seen a couple of kids on the way around, there's no playground or anything like that herePlease note this attraction is only open 3 days a week, similar to the nursery around the corner

Beautiful couple of hours walking through the gardens. The meadow was in full bloom & simply stunning. Lovely mature gardens with very interesting sculptures. We'll worth the price of admission.

Lovely gardens, lots of different areas to see, lots of sculptures and ornaments scattered around. Lovely little tea room, small inside but plenty of outdoor tables, serving drinks and cake only but the cake is delicious. I wish I'd visited earlier in the season but still enjoyed the visit very much.

A lovely hidden gem not far from Delamere. Open on specific days, entry fee is good value. Car parking is limited in a small car park at the end of the lane. Can be wet and muddy in parts if it has been raining, but still a great place to visit. Also has a small snack shop for food/ drinks.
