By far the worst landlord/letting agent I have ever had to deal with, dealing with them is painful and drawn out. I am still waiting for some work to be completed that was reported and agreed when I moved in over 2 years ago.Getting any repairs done takes months. 1 I have had people cost and claim to have completed twice but still nothing has been done.Electricity meters are locked away where we don’t have access and if we ask for access it doesn’t often happen when needed. Overall very poor service I would recommend anyone avoids.

I rented a property in my local village from space property, never missed a payment on rent even when increased.New neighbours moved in and caused no end of trouble with drug use and abusive vistors using my parking space also the children that lived there damaged all of my cars with scratchs and dents - also banged around the house as late as 2 - 3 in the morning on reporting these issues to space property nothing was done to resolve the issue.Lauren hook visited myself and my neighbour and came to the conclusion that i was either making it up or she simply didnt care.i received a letter stating i was essentially being anti social and i was in the wrong for wanting my drive way to myself which i paid for - i was then given a eviction notice by the manager of space property Kevin Penchion which i fought and won, finally agreeing to leave as i was fed up of dealing with space property and the staff that worked there.The service provided was awful - the house had electrical faults and nearly burnt down multiple times, reporting these issues i was told i would have to miss work to be in to let the repairmen in - clear choice let the house burn down or not get paid.To put a end to the reviewLauren HookMore interested in applying 5lbs of make up to her face and having a poor attitude towards tenants, also mildly sexist on visits - also breached the data protection act by informing everyone on my street that i was leaving and the date.Kevin PenchionThe manager with no people skills at all, from what i've been told on building sites i supply he is by far the most arrogant person you can meet which i've experianced first hand.Do not use space property - they do not care for the tenants welfare and are beyond unprofessional.

During the 2 years that my partner and I lived in our flat, they increased the rent by £250 while providing very little maintenance work to the block itself and providing appalling customer service.Our built-in Fridge/Freezer broke and needed to be replaced but the contractors that SPACE hire only work Mon-Fri 9-5 so as my partner and I also work Mon-Fri it was very difficult to arrange a suitable time. The contractors that SPACE chose gave us a days’ notice to come out and would only come at a time that suited them.I questioned this with SPACE and asked why they would hire a company that don’t visit in the evenings or at least weekends and was given a flippant response. I also requested that we were reimbursed some of the rent as we had (by that time) been without a Fridge/Freezer for almost 2 weeks. Their response was less than empathetic and I was told that ‘it is your responsibility to be available for the contractors or allow them access to your property if you’re not available’. I am appalled by their services and lack of responsibility for anything.In addition to the above, we had a toilet that wouldn’t flush properly without manually filling - this took them over 6 months to send somebody out after we chased them.I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Absolutely shocking service.

I am two months ahead with my rent and yet for over a month I have one issue after another with my hot water, I have a 6 year old daughter who is currently on her school holidays and I have been sat in doors most of the time waiting for an engineer, yet the problem is still is going. They tell you they appreciate you're upset but they have still not dealt with the issue effectively. In order to have the boiler/immersion heater replaced, they pass you from one department to another and no one seems to want to take responsibility for it, yet they are happy to take 650 a month, and only when I threaten to cancel payment, suddenly I get an engineer come out, where i would otherwise be left waiting 3 days, and then within a week, the water is cold again! I am disgusted by the service, I am currently looking for alternative accommodation and if this issue is not dealt with effectively I will be cancelling my payment. I would not advise anyone to rent a property through these people.

Useless maintenance team, repairs take months (we were left with a blocked toilet for 6 weeks, my shower door has been hanging off for 8 weeks, and I've had a damp ceiling caused by a leak upstairs for 8 weeks), poor communication, and generally have no idea what's going on. Considering I'm giving them £750 a month I would at least expect a half decent level of service, but this is not the case.

I had to build a court case after the shocking service I received.They refuse to repair huge things like a hot tap stuck on boiling hot leaving the shower and bath unusable. I have a 5 year old daughter living here. They took over 1 year to fix this issue leaving me and my daughter to run baths 2 hours each day to cool down enough to get in.Mould in both ours and daughters bedroom. 2 years to fix and still both bedrooms look like a building site. They refuse to send the painter.Currently withholding rent in hopes to get repairs done. They've claimed I'm completely to blame and have treated me and my daughter like complete filth! I am shocked that this is allowed. I hope to take them to court soon.

Read all reviews before you consider renting from these people. When you want to rent you'll see good and newly painted houses. First instance that you need a repair that's when you're nightmare begins. My boiler has been out for more than a month now. Communication with these people is a nightmare. Don't be fooled by them saying this is a rare occasion. talk to one of tenants before renting and you'll see how bad these people are.Edit: To answer to the response from owner, I have been a tenant for around 4 years and never have been asked to provide a feedback!

Absolutely no flexibility or effort to get items fixed within the property if you are unable to be there between 9-5. With the issues we have had within the first year of being there we would of had to dedicate 3 days annual leave to getting items repaired in the flat. I have rented with 4 different letting agents whilst living in Leeds and Space property have the worst approach to repairs that I have encountered.

Recently moved into a property in Leeds with space property. New build, immaculate place my family and I are happy to call home.If you are looking to private rent I strongly recommend you look at space first. Fantastic properties with the security of not dealing with a landlord who just wants rent, space want long term happy tenants and will help you get into a fresh home.We dealt with a lady named Kat who was very thourough and very helpful. 10/10 service already recommended couple of friends to look at the place available.

Unprofessional and unresponsive. Over a month now without a call back or an email response to application queries. Closed but still posting property's online. Unable to accept applications but still letting property. False statistics posted on website regarding customer service and satisfaction reviews. IE: compare online reviews of the poor communication, high prices, failure to manage and repair property's and question why a Leeds based office is managing property way beyond their county lines. A front for a larger social housing association, buying up affordable housing and pricing vunerable people out of the market. Don't let a costly Web presence con you as a buyer/renter into thinking this is a reputable company. Inexperienced valueless children in an overpriced office.Evidenced below, it's telling that the company have only replied to the Google review below that praises them. Ignoring the majority of posted content listing the same issues. Terrible customer service, terrible property management and repeated failures to effectively manage repairs they're responsible for.Avoid in every way.
