Driftwood Holiday Cottage

We came to Driftwood for a break over Christmas - just a time to relax. This cottage was perfect. We felt at home from the start. It's warm, it's well located and the owners have considered everything you might need for a stay and couldn't have been more helpful. There was a lovely welcome pack too. There are many short and longer walks in the area and the town has a good supermarket, excellent take-aways if you don't feel like cooking and a welcoming church, all just a few minutes away. Pet friendly - our dog loved it too! We hope to return - perhaps in the summer when we can better enjoy the wonderful garden and views.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Driftwood Cottage. Within just a short while it was obvious on how experienced Wendy is at letting out properties and providing for the needs of any visitor. Having spoken to her before I left I found that part of that is that she stays at her properties to see first hand what is needed. There was so much provided here, right down to the little things. Despite being in a town it was very quiet and comfortable. The cottage was quirky, fun and homely. I spent every day out but I knew that there was plenty I could do if I had to stay in. The upstairs area for children and the shed at the bottom of the garden looked lovely. I'd recommend this to anyone from a single person to a family with young children. If this is the standard of Wendy's properties I'd stay at any of them. One of them is already in my thoughts for a future visit to Scotland.

Everything you could wish for when it comes to a holiday, everything you need. Beautiful location highly reccomend staying here!

Came here with my mom and dad, was first time visiting Scotland and absolutely loved the place, Didn't want to leave when it came time to go.For the first time in a long time I was able to actually relax, We all felt very welcome and comfortable and the local area is lovely ^.^We have already booked again for next year :)
