Would Rate it 0 Star if I could but I'm being a bit nice today. So I decided to go in on a Saturday, to buy some cake It was the worst experience ever. there was a a long wait and there was 1 staff in the front going back and forth like mad. I waited for my cake for a while and no staff was helpful. there was a bunch of staff in the back giggling and laughing like mad while customers are waiting to be served. Not a good experience would rather bake a cake at home!23/05/2023 Update: Owner has still not got back to me regarding my issue which clearly shows they don't care about their customers. will report to food standard agency

The cakes were lovely my wife was so happy when I brought them home. I highly recommend this shop for anyone who has a birthday coming up. It will not disappoint.

Got to the shop and ordered a cake, wanted to pay with my card needed to sign for payment and the staff refused to take payment with card signature.When I ask the reason's for denying the payment they said it is their policy no not except card payments with signature, even when I wanted to produce my documents that proofs the card is mine they have denied.There is nowhere in the shop stating that you cannot pay with signature card so its all policies are in their head and not written for the customers to read.Very poor from them and could not let me speak to the manager as he is not there or busy.Really disappointed for they customer service, very poor and not helpful at all.

I must say that this is one of the most outstanding cake shop in the whole Leicestershire. I do recommend it to all my family and friends. It gave a brilliant service to me on dated 20th July 2021 at 11:00AM. The staff members during the mentioned date and time were brilliant. I asked some writing on my cake and they did it so fast in few seconds with very nice and tidy writing. Above all the PRICES ARE BRILLIANT AND VERY ECONOMICAL. THEY USED TO GIVE CARRIER BAG BEFORE BUT NOW....... .....!!!! Above all thumbs up to the Cake Box Evington Road!!!!

Very positive experience at this branch. I had called ahead and was advised that they had cakes on the shelve which I could buy as I had forgotten to order in advance. Alina was very helpful. I would definitely recommend Cake Box and this branch.

Their chocolate base cakes are the best cakes I tried. I have had many from them and not planning to change that anytime soon
