Delicious home-made food (had quiche and salad followed by a huge piece of victoria sponge) and lovely staff. Great deli too, we’re looking forward to sampling our Jolter Press cider this evening!

My partner and I visit this local cafe multiple times a week. The coffee is delicious, as is the takeaway food and there is a great range of local cheeses. The staff are very friendly and chatty, and always make you feel welcome. Best place to visit in Newent by far.

Really charming Delicatessen and café. Friendly staff, lovely selection of niche local beers, condiments and cheeses.The cheese scone was lovely, it had a really nice flavour and had a nice touch of paprika on top.The coffee has a slight natural sweetness to it, it also has a medium strength to it.

We popped by here for some lunch.The staff were super friendly & welcoming - we had found locals in surrounding villages weren’t so friendly to us, not sure why - however, this café was totally different & the people were wonderful. They turned our morning around for the better! ☺️The food was delicious & it had a very calm atmosphere.There’s ample parking in the area.

Fantastically friendly and great quality food and drink. We stopped off mid bike ride on a hot and they offered to fill our bottles without having to ask. Will definitely go back if we are passing through again

The Runcible Spoon Delicatessen and Café
I love this deli/cafe! Small, friendly and it’s open a little longer than others. Home cooked produce, good coffee and pots of real tea. Clean too. A special mention to the lovely waitress. This is the place I will revisit when next in Newent.
