Tasty food in good qualityStaff is also friendly and helpful55.3 per head for three peopleHighly recommend tomato pot!! I would recommend drinking a bowl of tomato soup to start withFor food I recommend 1) deep fried crispy pork, 2) brown sugar glutinous rick cake, 3)wind dried Chinese sausage, 4) squid tentacles and 5) tinder beef slices. Spicy beef is also nice but very spicyFresh beef stomach and duck intestine are not so good. Duck intestine particularly tastes like being frozen for long time

Shu Xiang Ge Hot Pot
A very authentic and amazing hotpot place!I'd say it has one of the best spicy hotpots in London. They have some really special dishes that you should give a try, you cannot find them anywhere else in London.The decor of the place is both traditional and chic. They have some tables which are suitable for people who want more privacy.Surely would recommend it for friends gathering!

Full review soon on IG: @hungrybelly.blogWe enjoyed the meal. The manager wasn't the most welcoming but our server Lin was very friendly and attentive.The bone brother was mild but had taste. The beef was a let down in flavour but we enjoy the Prawns, veg and drinks. It was a fun experience

Food tastes great but I'm not happy with the service. It's really annoying when a waitress stands next to your table to see you eat, probably to remove empty plates but very annoying! Also, they should have bowls and spoons for the broth, how else would someone eat them. Also, it's 2022 with pandemic risks not entirely gone but this restaurant only accepts cash.

The food quality at this hot pot place was good. We opted for the three soup option which gives good selection of non spicy to very spicy. Vegetables and mushrooms are must and they were very fresh and looks nice. Th meats were generally more thinner side but were tasty. Deep fried beef were ok - slightly tough to eat. As it’s a busy place they will seat you whichever table is ready however the initial table we were seated were by the entrance - as the door didn’t shut properly there was a constant draft of cold air. We asked for the table to be moved to another which they accepted. But the alternative seat was directly under the aircon blasting a cold air and it was super cold. I think the ventilation system could be better especially given the amount of vapour the soup produces. The service was good and efficient.

Nice food and place, although a bit expensive. If you go with a discount, they'll force you to go to an ATM so they can compensate by avoiding taxes, but you can always remove the 12,5% service charge in return. Regular clients are allowed to pay by card.

Shu Xiang Ge Hot Pot
We came for lunch on a Saturday with a book at a discount. We were told we had to take out cash to use the discount which was an inconvenience. The menu was not explained to us, especially considering this was our first hot pot. We got the mixed broth- the spicy and tomato which were nice. They truly mean spicy when they say it. We got the lamb rolls and the spicy beef, both were amazing. We also got the fungus which was lovely too. Noodles and rice amazing. Moon cake great too. Nothing wrong with the food but service could be improved. Our bill totalled under £50 which is good. Garlic sauce was a good balance to the heat.
