South Landing Beach

There's a fairly large car park at the top of the slope. Plus, toilets and a lovely coffee shop, Scrumdiddlyumptious by the Sea.The slope down is used by service vehicles so watch out for that if you have little ones or dogs.The RNLI have a lifeboat house at the bottom of the slope which has a small shop and sells ice creams. Keep an eye on social media for their occasional coffee and cake" weekends.The beach has a pebbly edge and lots of sand

A beautiful place on a wonderful day. Small beach which was nearly deserted. Witnessed a kestrel hovering, searching for food, a lone seal just taking in the views whilst bobbing on its back and the serene sound of the sea ...... like a massage for the brain. Bliss ❤️

Lovely place to visit. Woodland/countryside walk with sea views. Steps down to the beach and lifeboat Station. You need to be physically able as it is steep! Cafe in the car park serving homemade cakes and sandwiches. We'll worth the visit

The south landing car park is at the top of the hill. Has a weird pricing structure where two hours is 3 times the price of one hour.Get over that and you can leave the carpark via the sculpture walk. Not that many sculptures left but still a short pleasant walk to the cliffs. When you get there a left turn takes you a few miles to the lighthouse. A right takes you back to the carpark or to south landing beach via some steps.The beach is rocky with steep cliffs. You can walk to Brid on the beach. Check the tides first! There's steps up the other side of the landing that lead to the coastal path to Sewerby and on to Brid.The RNLI has an inshore boat stationed here. Visit the small shop, buy some stuff for a great cause. The lemon curd is a favorite item of mine. A short steep walk up the road brings you back to the carpark.

A good place to visit with pleasant walks along the beach or the paths along the cliffs. The beach is a mixture of sand, chalk boulders & rocks. Plenty of interest to suit all ages. The walk down & up is fairly steep though.

Beautiful beach and views. Fabulous little RNLI shop there too.

Lovely here. Stone beach but nice & quiet. Lovely for looking for stones fossils and shells. Really really lovely place

Pretty little beach. Good parking a short walk away. You can't drive all the way that's reserved for the RNLI access. Bit of a climb back up but nothing too strenuous. Nice nature walk if you want it. Quiet when we went Tuesday PM weather was overcast. But well worth the effort.

Amazing beach at Flamborough, plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. Dog friendly, only a short walk down from the car park, and very clean. Not as busy as some larger seaside such as Bridlington. Watch out for the tide though!
