Country Meadow Caravan Park

Wow what a gem of a caravan park. So lucky to discover this place. The owners couldn't be more helpful and friendly. The facilities are kept immaculately clean, the grass and hedges well groomed also! Only a short walk to the beach and Sutton on Sea. You have to walk on the road for a short stretch as there is no pavement. Access onto a public footpath is possible via the field opposite but does make the walk a little longer. All in all a fab place to relax and unwind.

We loved our little get away. Clean, comfortable facilities and very tidy pitches!Having read some scathing reviews before we arrived, we weren't sure what would greet us and were pleasantly surprised. Would definitely visit again.

These owners need to remember they’re in hospitality.Don’t expect a friendly welcome here especially if you’re female. The owners acted as though I was an inconvenience from the moment I rang the doorbell to be let in. When my friend later arrived he felt it necessary to stand over her while she unhitched her caravan, somewhat intimidating given he is incapable of a smile.They charge 50p for a shower.You can’t have a fob for the barrier unless you leave £10 cash, no less and must be cash.They charge you for visitors, will stare at you without any sense it’s inappropriate.The site is clean.There’s no where to empty your grey waste if you’re in a motorhome.There’s even stupid stickers under the light switches in the toilets telling you to turn off the lights because you’re not at home. How pathetic.Given how many other sites are in this area I would never stay here again, a horrible man who needs to get out of his bubble and see that campsites run better when people feel welcome.

Contacted the company last week to get some information on booking. We had seen this on 2 different websites and the reviews were horrendous. I went against better judgement due to the price being good so still called only to be answered by a very rude women with no customer service skills. I asked basic questions and was on the phone for minimal time. The women spoke to was rude from the start of the conversation, I certainly wouldn’t reccomend. Take a look at other reviews where the manager has responded themself about horrendous situations. Certainly won’t be booking and will make others aware.

Just spent three nights here at Country Meadow Caravan Park. The owners Caroline and Keith were very friendly and helpful. Showers and toilets are absolutely spotless and the grounds were kept immaculate. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
