Came in the other day for brunch with a few friends and the service was second to none. We were served by a girl named Olivia Jones. This girl is an absolute credit to Jaloux. She went above and beyond and made sure we had the best brunch possible. She was so bubbly and friendly throughout the entire experience. Thank you Olivia ❤️xx

Loved Jaloux brunch! 10/10 experience. The food , venue & vibe was amazing couldn’t fault anything. The staff were so lovely & helpful! Especially Liv Wilson who was serving us during our brunch. Will definitely book again!

If I could put 0 stars I would. We had a booking for here for boozy brunch but couldn’t make it as the trains got cancelled from Edinburgh to Liverpool. We paid £80 deposit and requested to have it refunded as we won’t be needing the booking anymore and there was no way of us getting to Liverpool anymore. We emailed in plenty of notice and kindly asked for a refund. We were told this wasn’t possible as they replied “Deposits are generally non-refundable but we can offer to move the booking for you?”. We couldn’t take up this offer as we are from Edinburgh and wouldn’t be coming back to Liverpool in the near future so we just wanted the refund.We then read their terms and conditions to see if it said anywhere about refunds being non refundable which there isn’t anything about refunds so we didn’t understand why we couldn’t get one. This is a popular place so I wouldn’t see there being an issue in getting another booking and the fact we cancelled in plenty of notice and even gave evidence to say why we couldn’t make it we were still faced with a straight up no. The email said that they had spoke to management and even under the circumstances they wouldn’t give back a refund.I then asked if someone could phone me as I would like to actually understand why we couldn’t get a refund and why our circumstances aren’t good enough for a refund. I was then ignored and haven’t been contacted since. If this company isn’t wanting to give back refunds to people/bookings PLEASE state in your terms and conditions or even when you are booking. This would change a lot of people’s minds in booking so far in advance. I get bookings getting cancelled is annoying and frustrating but the fact we gave plenty notice and evidence to cancelling and still not getting our money back or even a phone call is ridiculous!!!!Wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Brilliant experience, such a vibe for all kinds of events. Liv W was the perfect host and kept the drinks flowing all night, and was just so lovely in making our experience special! Would definitely recommend!!

Visited for Bottomless Brunch with a group of 8 for a Hen Do.The drinks were pretty good and quite big!The food was maybe not quite what I was expecting from the menu. For example, the ‘croque madam’ was just a cheese and ham roll and we didn’t get any of the smoked salmon ones either. Also the Frosè wasn’t frozen yet so we couldn’t have that.The sweet food was nice and there was a lot of it! Maybe too much sweet, could’ve done with more savoury!Service was great and the whole place has a good vibe. Really nicely decorated, very ‘instagrammable’.

Olivia (blonde hair, looks like a model) was our server this afternoon and we could not fault her attention to detail and smiling customer service. What a real delight and extremely beautiful girl.We had drinks offered continuously, and our the food was lovely. I will definitely return.Thank you Olivia
