AWFUL service and experience! The colour of my hair turned out to be the exact colour I asked them NOT to do. They make up prices! I called ahead and asked the exact price of the haircut and colour, explaining that I had long hair but when I got there they told me it would be more, so I carried on as I had an event to attend that evening. I went with a friend who had a basic hair cut, however another customer walked in half way through and was given a cheaper price for the EXACT SAME service. We asked MadeinWhetstone about this and the main guy just shrugged his shoulders and ignored us.

Went to this place for number of years and recently found the customer service go completely down hill by the same two guys who run the salon.I had a colour, cut and blow dry.Found the owner moody as I walked in on several occasions but continued to go as they had done a good colour and blow dry. This has now changed as my last visit was very unpleasant and would not go again!On my recent visit for a colour, cut and blow dry the owner gave me advice on hair strengthening and when I asked a question about the length he recommended to cut my hair to get it to a healthy stage he randomly snapped at me saying please don’t make me mad , abruptly. I felt he was very annoyed the whole time I was there for no reason.Very unpleasant experience and I am appalled the way I was treated for asking a genuine question! customer service has gone completely, would not recommend.

Writing this review after I got a good haircut from another hair saloon.Meanwhile 1 star rating for this saloon just for the rude behaviour of the guy in this shop. And how he made me feel Totally disappointed with his attitude towards (potential) customers. As if he is doing this free for me. Come on! Have some mThe situation: I entered the shop and asked if he has any appointment available for haircut ? He hesitated to answer for a sec. and asked me to repeat. I repeated. He rotated his eyes and said in a different tone ‘I am busy (can’t you see?)’ and said nothing else other than that. And i walked away disappointed as you can imagine.In my mind, I thought :Chill ‘busy’ man.. yes, I can see there is a woman in the chair. What I asked was if you have any appointment available - for which you didn’t answer ?There is a much famous three letter word saloon nearby (that starts with H and ends with b) is a place who treat their customers well with no bad behaviour. They deserve a praise here. Worth a try.Never going back to this ‘Rudeness’ Made in Whetstone.

Great service and reasonable price. Very professional workers.. I had a highlight, hair cut and blow dry and was so satisfied with the outcome. Keep it up :)

I arrived there after having booked a hair updo and blowout for my sister in law on treatwell to find the salon completely empty with two men chatting away at the front. When I approached them and told them I had a booking an older man seemed confused and passive aggressive in asking how I booked, I confirmed it was through treatwell but he seemed to have no record of it. Then after a phone call to someone (who I assume now is the owner) he sat us down. I showed him photos of the hair I wanted but he kept scrunching my hair upwards and asking if I wanted that (that's not what I wanted nor what I was showing him). He then accused me of not knowing what I wanted, to which I showed him another photo of an easier hair do which he also scrunched my hair up and asked if it looked good (it did not). He became more and more irate with me as I didn't want to pay £60 for a mediocre hairstyle and then handed me the phone and the owner was on the other end asking me to leave and request a refund from treatwell since I was confused. I honestly thought it was a joke and had her repeat what she said. Needless to say I promptly gathered my things and walked across to Lavish where I had two wonderful gents do my hair.If you would like to be ridiculed, talked down to and then kicked out, then this is your place. Never left a review like this before, never had such an awful experience before either.

I have been getting my hair done since I was 16 and now at 42 I can honestly say I have never been so happy with my hair. The service is amazing. They really listen to what you want and the prices are amazing. Very highly recommended. I will only ever go here from now on.

Having had bad experiences with other salons, I only trust Serkan at Made in Whetstone to cut my hair. Always leaving the salon happy and satisfied. Love my lowlights and blowdrys too!

I have been going to this hairdressers for several years and have always had a great service! They are very professional and I have not been able to find a better place to do my highlights, haircut and styling in Whetstone or even other places in central London. Their prices are very reasonable, they don’t rush you and give you good advice on care and styling! Definitely recommend them!

Saved my wedding!!!! BRILLIANT, skilled, wonderful, reasonable salon. This man saved my hair color (another salon had dyed it jet black days before my wedding). We walked in, I was wary of a new place messing it up even more, and he brought back my brown color in maybe 30 minutes!! This place could definitely use some help with marketing and customer service, but they have what matters- GREAT SERVICES at fair prices!! Go give them your support so they get thru Covid!!! THANK YOU!!!

I've been going to these fantastic hair dresses for the past five years. Serkan and his team are excellent, very professional and polite. I always get compliments for my hair, and I'm genuinely grateful for this place. I'd highly recommend this hairdresser. They see simply the best!!
