drinks are really expensive for one shot I paid £4.50 truly a scam, me and my friends went out and the bar tender was playing tricks with the bottles and spilts alcohol all over us and ruined our night, all we got was a lousy sorry. recommend going here if you 30+

Just want to say, Popworld York is honestly the best nightclub there is! Music is fantastic as always and the service is on very top form! I know that there is one lady called Kat who works here and honestly, she is the absolute best! Always looking out for club-goers and always gives the best service ever! Popworld York is so much better than Popworld Cheltenham! Cracking work! Keep on powering through! Xx

Absolutely love this place, we visit everytime we come to York. I'd like to put a special mention out to Kat, one of the friendliest and loveliest people we've met. She even remembered me after the last trip to York. Having good staff makes us come back every year!

Went to popworld last night (19th) and just wanted to commend the door staff, they were fantastic, explained their duty of care well and was kind all night long. Didn’t get names but the two guys on patrol inside were some of the nicest people I have gotten to meet. Great job! Bring on next week!!

Decent music but otherwise not very good at all. They seriously need to look at their door staff. I saw one poor lad ejected because he sat down and his eyes closed for a moment. Rediculous... Since when has being knackered a reason to chuck someone out? A simple welfare check would have been enough when I obtained my SIA license. Door staff haven't got a clue.... Rude and overly strict.Won't be going here again.

Absolutely shocking prices, after my internal cavity search to get in which felt as bad as it sounds I was told it would be £6-50 for a bottle of Rekordalig, not being a Muppet I marched straight out of there. Put a price list outside and you will have a lot less people to search from now on!

Kat and Chris were fantastic whilst there was broken pipes in the women’s bathroom. Super friendly and accommodating, get them a raise NOW. Love the bouncers always keeping the place safe
