The Gateway Cafe
Lively place very busy but plenty of room, nice views and outside seating available. Service was quick and efficient. Food was really very good I had the Cajun chicken bowl with roasted veg, sweet potato and feta it was lovely, chicken well marinated and was really tasty and juicy, veg roasted and it all came together beautifully really enjoyed it. All the food looks home made not processed like a lot of places, prices reasonable for what you get. The coffee is good and the drinks are bottled not the horrible cheap stuff on tap. Would def recommend.

Wonderful place to sit and drink a coffee and a slice of coffee and walnut cake.The cafe is a lovely sun trap so sitting on the lakeside veranda is very relaxing. The food menu is pretty good for brunch. Expect to pay £3.50 for a coffee and £13 for a full English. Come on a sunny day.

Lovely place with an excellent view. The café itself is beautifully decorated with artwork and tropical plants. The view over the lake is stunning, love taking my grandparents here for coffee. Tried the mint choc chip milkshake, which was great!

Fantastic meal. Staff were very friendly despite being rather busy. Food well presented, tasty and served quickly. Reasonably priced too.

One of our favourites and a regular stop for brunch. Service is quick and always correct. My only fault is the time to clear tables and get another drink or desert.

Very cute sit down café located in a very nice area. Enjoyed some ice cream from their selection and it was clearly high quality. Their chocolate ice cream was good but I’d say the Honeycomb ice cream was the highlight. Good wifi connection as well for those who want the option to do work. Would highly recommend, worth stopping by.

Really lovely chilled cafe with good range of good available. Was impressed with the quality and quantity provided. Also had a really nice view, sitting inside or outside. Good service and friendly staff. Dog friendly too.
