Kwik Fit - Alloa

I wasn’t aware before hand thst I would need to pay extra gif wheel alignment, especially as my car had just been serviced a few days before. They did not attempt to reset the tyre pressure warning light which was still on afterwards.

Service was perfect from start to finish 4 new tyres fitted in the agreed time. Great job done by the boys. Also while in the garage an elderly gentleman came in and took unwell and the member of staff whose name I didn’t catch helped to look after him called an ambulance and was extremely professional and caring. All in all a great service and great staff

I booked my vehicle into the Alloa branch on 31/08 for an interim service, and on picking up my vehicle I was told everything was fine except for two front tyres needing replaced. ( these were replaced and fitted by Kwik Fit Alloa on 4th Sept) However within a few minutes of driving away from the branck warning lights appeared on my dashboard indicating I needed my brake pads replaced and my hand brake light was on. I returned immediately to the branch and the technician tried for almost 30 mins with the Bosch KTS tool to update the system and get rid of the warnings, as I was told that there were no issues whatsoever with my brake pads. Eventually he succeeded in getting rid of the warnings and I drove off. Again within minutes the warning lights reappeared. As it was now after 6pm I waited until the next day Friday to go back to the branch. But when I went I back I was told that the technician was off sick and could I come back Monday. I returned on Monday but the technician was still off sick and nobody else could help me. I was away 1 week on business and the next time I could get into the Alloa branch was 29th Sept, and on that day was told to book the car in for an inspection on Monday 2nd Oct at 2.30. The result of the visit today, 3rd Oct was that the brake pads were inspected again by different technicians who were very helpful, and confirmed there was no issue with having them replaced. However, on asking if the car's service record could be updated to get rid of the warning lights I was told that the Bosch KTS diagnostic tool's licence was out of date and should have been updated weeks ago, and they could not use the tool to update the car system. The staff were extremely helpful on my visit, but I find it incredible that such an important diagnostic tool has been allowed to have it's licence expire. I am now no further forward in getting this issue resolved, and it is now 2nd Oct and this has been going on since 31st August. Totally unacceptable. I have supported Kwik Fit, and in particular the Alloa branch in the past for services, MOTs and tyres as does my father-in-law as we have always received excellent service in the past. However, recent staffing levels and service levels have started to change my mind. I would like to get this issue resolved either by this branch or another local branch. I await a response.

Disappointed. Was booked in for MOT and service but there was no one available to service my car.The staff were apologetic and did carry out my MOT. That wasn't what I had booked!

Brilliant service. My car got a flat which meant I was struggling to get home and continue with my work. It was fitted in and repaired really quickly! Thank you Ryan.

The staff and manager were very friendly, took the time to understand my problem and gave me a good solution at a fair price. Also good advice on future steps to give a more permanent fix.

Just picked my car up 20 minutes ago can't thank the lads enough Dougie the lad who done my breaks I feel terrible I've forgotten the lads name that was at the desk this morning. Both lads are a credit to the garage very happy with the service and the quality of the job and price I'll not go to another garage. Last thing I'll say I got my discs and pads for the front and back for the same price a well known named garage was going to charge me for just the back set. So anyone reading this give the lads a phone prices are class and this isn't the first time I've used them bailed me out a few years back I was quoted over £500 at other places they done the same job for £175.

Great service and friendly staff.I was let down by another garage and need an MOT today. Kwik Fit managed to fit me in and assess the car with only 3 days notice
