Quarry Bank House

Nice historic house that is part of the Quarry Bank Mill estate.Staff were friendly throughout.

Very beautiful place for landmark and for the industries place or factories

It's a fairly standard National Trust place which, for me, is a good target for a bike ride encouraged by the prospect of coffee or an ice cream with a fairly short but bottom gear pedal back up the hill.

I go walking through Quarry Bank (National Trust Land) most days either before or after work the latter being to wind down! It is such a peaceful setting. There are lots of trails and sometimes you can walk for an hour or so without seeing anybody else. The scenery is sometimes quite spectacular and the wildlife is exceptional. I must admit that the only time I have been in QBH is for a wedding reception so there is not much I can say about it. There are lots of staff who are extremely helpful and there is a coffee shop and an ice cream parlour which incidentally serves Vegan Ice Cream - a big plus for me being a Vegan!! Definitely worth a visit. You won’t be disappointed. Enjoy!!

They have done lots of changes since our last visit many years ago. It was lovely to see the gardens and green house finished keep up the good work

Lovely, well kept place to visit. Very educational and interesting..Friendly and helpful staff. The children loved their visit.It was so hot when we visited, so we never completed our viewing. It's well worth a return visit.

Fascinating house, informative and friendly guides.

Timed slots to visit due to limitation of numbers. Wasn't too busy a day when I went so only a couple of minutes to wait, not 15 as the door sign suggested. Upstairs not open for public to view as staircase apparently not up to coping with visitor numbers, must be the tramping of all those 13 kids of theirs over the years, ha. Welcoming and informative guides on hand. Not much furniture in the rooms, and the furniture is of the period but are not the original items. Worth a visit and it's right adjacent to the mill.

Great place to visit, allow plenty of time to explore the mill, gardens and surrounding woodland. There is a great walk from the mill around to the airport and back via the village.
