Backyard bikes is an excellent small bike repair business. After my plans of a long cycle were disrupted by a punctured tire and a broken bike pump I was glad to find backyard bikes nearby. After I arrived I was greeted by the owner and taken round the back to fix the bike. Not only was the service great it was also informative as the owner took the time to educate me about how to properly repair the puncture as well as how to set the tire when reinflating to avoid it popping into place later on. After the tire was back on he even fixed the front brake as he noticed it wasn't working properly. I'm very thankful to have found such a generous repair shop and his love and knowledge of bikes is clear to see when he works, as he genuinely wanted to do the job right and not just quickly. Thank you very much for your repair and I'm sorry I forgot your name for the review!

Chris did amazing work and fixed a lot of things on my bike which where earlier left without attention or done halfway. Really appreciated all his efforts and time. Would recommend to everyone, he really puts his heart on this job

I cannot recommend Chris highly enough. Had my taken my bike for a regular service before the winter months. Chris is great for keeping in touch with what’s happening. He found a defect with the bike that should have been found by the bike shop that I bought it from. I can’t believe they never noticed it. 1 when they assembled it and 2 when the bike went for its first service with them. Chris was great for emailing me in detail what’s was needing done. Showed the bike shop the email of the fault and it was sorted. Without Chris spotting this I would be cycling a bike with a defect. Thank you!!
