Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Histon

Van was good and rent reasonable. Customer service was very slow however, poor communication getting bounced around various enterprise departments with no actual response. The site is also poorly managed with slow pick ups and drop offs interfering with people fuelling at the petrol station on the doorstep. Despite being promised in person and over the phone that it would be removed and then me chasing it up again a 'refuelling charge' was never removed from my final bill. This charge for being half a litre below the original tank level was particularly ridiculous as the petrol station is literally on the doorstep and I returned the vehicle hours early, so had I not been told the charge would be removed I would have just filled it up there and then. Overall a disappointing experience and I will be looking elsewhere when I need a van in future.

The rented car was clean and in very good shape. On pickup I have to wait a long time despite the fact that I have registered online with all information provided. They do not provide children seats! The guy that was handing over the car said it has 3/4 fuel tank and I have to bring it back with 3/4 as well. During the return everything went well and fast (with Riece assistent manager) and I returned the car with more than 3/4 fuel tank. After I received the recepit I realized I was charged additional fueling and admin fee (I did't notice that they lied to me and stated 13/16 fuel in the protocol). They could have told me and I could buy the fuel but they decided to lie and charge me instead. I'm never using Enterprise again.

Horrendous!! Please do not use!! Ordered, reserved and paid. Turned up to be told “oh there ain’t one”, it was a van for an important move and they just “didn’t source one in time”. No apologies, no help, no advice. Left me very vulnerable. This is VERY common as it turns out so don’t bother. Worst customer service in branch. Just use the other companies, they’re pleasant, easy, more secure and cheaper.Be aware of the scam and save yourself the hassle and stress.

I had an agreement with enterprise for the hire of a vehicle. This went on some time while the insurance claim was being handled. Enterprise asked me to visit their office and complete the paperwork on a new hire. They called me on a Friday and insisted I came in on the Saturday. I said I couldn't as I had work but I would rearrange and get to the office the following Monday. With the incredibly short notice I couldn't attend on the Monday so Enterprise cancelled my contract despite it being authorised by my insurers. Basically Enterprise had 85 days to invite me in to complete the paperwork but chose to give me less than 24 hours notice. They were fully aware I worked nights and came to my home at midday, waking me up to collect the car that I had been authorised to have by my insurance company. When speaking to the 'manager' he talked over me and thought that arguing was the way to provide good customer service. He then lied about calling my mobile as all calls are saved as are all voicemails. I would avoid Histon branch at all costs. Poor customer service and poor attitude.

My one way 'Intermediate SUV' hire to Scotland was faultless. They have better rates than their city centre branch and will happily pick you up. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again - the team here are a credit to Enterprise.

Have rented from Enterprise before, largely London branches. There were generally always hiccups but the prices were good.As a result, I was pleasantly surprised how organised and kind the staff at the Histon branch were. Especially Arjun D. Would recommend!

I would just like to say a massive thank you to the enterprise rental team. Great customer service. My car was dropped off at the histon branch from the garage doing the repair, when I came to pick it up it was dead.The chaps on the front desk sourced jump leads and after a valiant attempt we couldn't get it started. They were willing to stay open untill the RAC got there.Thank you again for all your help and support

I had a car from Enterprise (Histon branch) for over a month. Quality of a car was great, everything was explained and staff was very helpful. Service was very good, I spoke to the manager, he helped me and delivered new car to my work place which was very helpful.

We had rented a car from this branch for a weekend trip to Cornwall for a family celebration. Unfortunately 30 minutes in to our journey we faced issues with the car and after numerous phone calls ongoing for nearly 4 hours, Enterprise were unable to provide a replacement vehicle so we were forced to return it and forgo one night of our stay in Cornwall and forced to find another travel solution. At first the branch were very apologetic and were quick to promise that a refund would be processed, which we later learnt took nearly a week longer than originally promised. However since then the service we have received is nothing short of abysmal. The responsiveness has been nigh on non existent and the proactiveness to find a solution to a dispute, which is still ongoing nearly 3 weeks after the issue, has been poor. Regrettably this experience has put me off using Enterprise for any future rentals

This was our first experience of using Enterprise Rent-A-Car and it was a very good choice. The branch at Histon, Cambridges was very convenient for us.The website is very comprehensive and accessible with lots of helpful information. A phone call to the Histon office met with a very warm and cheerful response from Freddie to help us make our booking. Freddie made sure we were given the best possible deal for a week’s economy car hire. It was all very easy to do.The warm welcome was extended to the next day when we picked up the car - a 2020 Ford Focus. On Freddie’s advice we took out the car excess waiver policy for peace of mind.Liana then took over to finalise details and to introduce us to the shining car. She was patient and understanding as I sat in the driver’s seat and contemplated the many modern features of the car dashboard, including how to start the car!Returning the car a week later was also very straightforward. Luis quickly assessed the condition of the returned Ford - an operation that just took a few minutes. Luis answered relevant questions about this process with great skill and double-checked that the amount of fuel in the returned vehicle equalled the same amount when we picked it up. He also ensured that the £200 deposit was returned.The whole experience was very painless and very much helped by the three very professional members of staff - great ambassadors for Enterprise. Great customer service. Thank you.
