Vicarage Plaice
Read about the f&c shop and was intrigued to see what was like and was not disappointed. The fish (haddock) was perfectly cooked and the chip's delicious. Reasonably priced and excellent service. 10/10!

I'm gonna be honest, sometimes this place does really nice chips, but the last couple of times the chips and the battered sausage could definitely have done with being in a bit longer because they were a bit soggy.

This fish & chip shop is possibly the best one in Cleveland.It was taken over about 3 years ago by the current owner who really knows his stuff and offer a great range of food options, all of which are well cooked and presented.I highly recommend this place.

Vicarage Plaice
Called in for post beach walk fish and chips. Our food was cooked to order and the fish was delicious, breaking up into large bright white flakes. There was a good choice of options and we came away with the impression that the guy who served us, really cared about his food and customer service. Happy to recommend, it's well worth a five minute walk from the beach.

Called to place an order for fish and chips. What time would you like them delivered, I asked for them to come at 6-30pm. That will be no problem sir.Door bell went at 6-30 and the lass said here is your order sir.They were all well cooked and the fish was llovely and white, batter was light and crunchy.Have ordered a few times since and always come on time and cooked same as first time.
