Excellent independent mecca for cyclists both novice, commuters and serious riders. The store is located just off the A38 at the bottom of Telegraph Hill, North side of the village of Kenn. Ample free car parking. The Range of bikes is immense, from a separate kids section, race, hybrids and electric as well as the pro competitive bikes. A huge range of cycle accessories from bells to gears and chains, panniers and baskets are available to purchase at competitive prices, the customer service is excellent and the follow up exceptional. I have previously bought a bike for my Son from here and popped in today and bought a Hump signal cycle jacket from the sale rack.

This is a great cycle store to have on the doorstep. Superb ranges of bikes - hybrids, mountain bikes and e-bikes - and really helpful advice from knowledgeable, friendly staff. Plenty of space for parking on site and room to try out possible purchases. Highly recommended and loving my commute ...

Popped in yesterday to look at bikes for my 10 yr old and 6yr old .I didnt get the guys name who helped us but I hope his foot gets better soon.Beyond helpful, our youngest has spina bifida and paralysed from the knees down can still walk with aids, he went through so many bikes finding one we could adapt, that is light enough he could use. so my son can have a normal bike like his friends. He's so happy and we can't thank the lovely man who spent all that time helping us and offering us advice.Very knowledgable, helpful staff .We were so impressed , would highly reccomened to anyone

Very disappointed by response to the Shimano crank issues.Partridge are charging customers £45 per inspection per bike. This would be £135 for me for bikes I have purchased from them since 2018.I have spoken to three other bike dealers in local area who will provide this service free of charge even though I did not buy bikes from them. They tell me Shimano will pay the workshop time.Spoke to Alex at Partridges and he says Shimano don’t pay enough to cover their time cross referencing with Madison etc.Something wrong here, told him reputation of Partridges will be damaged. ‘Your choice’ he says.Oooops, not the best way to treat customers, I have purchased 11 bikes from them over the years. Needless to say I’m going to those who care!

Absolutely brilliant service from the team at Partridge Cycles. John was so helpful recommending the right size bike for my 7 year old and Ollie was incredibly patient helping us to try it out. She’s not a very confident cyclist and Ollie was really calm and put her at ease. We’re so happy with our bike. It’s also fab to have such a great cafe next door!

Fantastic experience at the Wobbly Wheel cafe! Angela is very friendly and accommodating and the food is both good quality and cheap; the large breakfast (see picture below) was only £8!Would recommend to anyone who is staying in the area.

Big thanks to Rodger who said 'give it a go' and I did, liked the first bike I tried smaller and nippy, easy to manoeuvre and could see it would be brilliant for around town and tow paths but the clincher came when i had a go on the bigger Rayleigh motor plus, it felt much better for the treacherous hilly terrain we have here with a bit more torque and sturdier build with Bosch battery and drive. Was so excited I wanted to take it home there and then but had to have one sleep before returning. Ultimately over my budget ( never had a car over 1.5K!) but I love it! I went to work on it yesterday afternoon arrived earlier than expected and rode home at midnight, Lights are great and I conquered 3 monstrous hills without even going into Turbo. Battery level has hardly moved and lovely Ebike John who set everything up for me and explained the bike to me in tremendous detail before we left, like care for battery about cadence of pedalling and how to get the best from the bike is absolutely right-I can't stop smiling! I have to say he's wrong about the total demise of flies I have swallowed quite a few laughing as i go. Thanks chaps, great service oh and yes i also bought a decent helmet-expertly fitted by another jolly member of staff.
