First visit here and was very impressed. The staff were very friendly and helpful even though they were very busy. The food was really delicious, generous portions and good value. Will definitely eat here again.

I felt really special! The lovely young man sat us in a booth and put the TV on for the rugby, and had the best service we have had anywhere. Food was lovely , as we're the drinks. A really lovely experience.

Nice friendly pub with large beer garden, plus outdoor TV and bar for summer events. Menu is well priced with a decent selection. I tried the kebabs which well cooked and presented. Really nice to see a two course senior menu as well. Greene King app worked well for ordering.

me and my family went here for a meal on Saturday the 3rd of November we didnt have to wait long for our meal the staff were on the ball all the while we were there me Andy family went to the carnival at the evening it was fantastic. it ran abit late because of a break down at the end of the carnival they did something could scwibing it was out of this would the carnivsl takes place on the first Saturday in November every year

A warm and frendly atmosphere due to surroundings and the great team who welcome and serve you. The menu and quality of the food is excellent and the prices are reasonable for all the family. Must point out Jack who looks after everyone with always a cheerful and helpful attitude. The whole team are to be congratulated. A pleasure to come to you for a great meal.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Food came quickly, despite being told there was a long wait, everything was very hot cooked well very tasty and excellent value.

Very nice pub in Bridgwater. The food is really good and there is a lotus cheescake which is outstanding. They have a huge terrace with Tv and live sports such as F1, football or tennis.The personell are really friendly and eficient and they put wimbledon as we asked them to.You can either enjoy a good lunch or dinner or few drinks and the sun and good sunny days.Very recommended.

I was visiting Bridgwater and came in here to The Malt Shovel with my boyfriend, Sunday July 2nd, 2023.We were greeted with a friendly smile when we entered. We found a good seat and enjoyed our drinks, the music and each others company here. We had a great time.There is also an outside area with lots of benches that we enjoyed , in the sun.We are looking forward to coming back.

Been twice for a meal was not disappointed the food on both occasions was very pleasant and value for money. The staff are very polite and willing to help with anything you ask of them.
