Lovely, quiet.There's a very worn trail right next to the river, but parts of it have fallen into the water so, combined with how steep parts of it are, I wouldn't recommend going with animals or children.Good place to bring dogs otherwise.

Wonderful display the day we visited as part of our Riverside walk. There's lots of old Victorian type canals for the long gone water Mills that were once so promenant along the river side. The Don is a majestic river with masses of water power flowing past just two minutes from the walled garden. Well worth the visit and the easy going Riverside walk. Lots of birds to look out for and traces of engineering from the past.

Came here while doing the River Don walks and specifically to see the Mother Earth statue by Andy Scott who also designed the famous Kelpies at Falkirk.

Lovely spot for dog walking along the river don. Plenty dog waste bins which is usually a worry when I go somewhere new. There's a large dog park adjacent to this park too. Well worth a visit.
