I've worked with Ben for the last 5 months on a heritage lottery funded project exploring identity, diversity and heritage issues through the media with 50 young people aged 14 to 20. When commissioning Ben I was initially really impressed with his photographic style and excellent portfolio of photos. However, while working with him and observing his calm and engaging manner I realised that what he added to this project was how he enabled other people to develop their own technique and photographic style - bringing out the best in teenagers whether in front or behind of camera. He has been very easy to work with, has a very professional manner and is flexible when dates change at short notice. I would most definitely recommend him to others both for the quality of his own work and how he brings out the best in others. I am currently exploring a new project idea and would very much like to continue working with Ben if this grant application is successful.

Working with Ben - as part of Nottingham Royal Concert Hall's 17/18 May 2016 Breakin' Convention - was a genuine pleasure.Friendly, engaged and passionate about his photography, film making and live performance, I can only recommend Ben in the very highest terms. Had some headshots done with Ben and they are exactly what I wanted. I've been having headshots done for 20yrs and he is the 1st photographer to really capture what I wanted and to fully listen to me. Absolutely brilliant!

Ben photographed Great British Weather and his photos were great and he made the band feel at ease and got a great shoot. Top guy and great photos, will definitely use him again.

Worked with Ben on some Photography techniques with my A Level Photography class. They loved it! Thank you so much for inspiring them and showing them some simple but effective ways of lighting and editing.
