Avanti Gas Ltd

Terrible service...we have been waiting a month and are almost out of gas.We have a disabled son and i have asthma.We live in a the country and have no other means of heating and hot water.We spent over 30minutes on the phone trying to speak to an advisor.The reviews say it all really.

Can't get through on the phone. Whichever option you choose, it ignores your selection.

Ordered two gas bottles, avanti gas wsm left them at the bottom of 40m garden, being disabled I’m not able to drag 50kg bottle up garden and connect themCalled nicely to see if someone can wheel up garden connect and take emptys but no one has come

as I sit here cold and unshowered without gas , with the phone unanswered after one hour calling I wish I hadnt switched from flogas to save a few pence . Looking at respective depot structure Avanti cannot cover south wales adequately and so much for auto top us service .I did however ring as a new customer and a lovely lady answered in one minute but funny enough couldnt help me although sitting in same office as customer serviceBy way of update a week later , every company has problems and this is when customer service should be strong . Once I finally got though they prioritised a delivery in 24 hours , an excellent driver turned up at 07.30 in the morning and didnt leave until he ensured the gas had reconnected and everything was worknig again , many thanks

Unfortunately I've had to deal with this terrible company and I have recently written to my local MP and the energy regulator to complain about their practice of withdrawing vital services to customers.I owed Avanti gas the grand sum of just £23.00. Despite my having paid on a standing order regularly for 8 years and despite the fact that during the summer months I was often in credit. For this small amount of money, they stopped my account and delivering gas and left myself and my small granddaughter without heating and hot water.What other vital service would be allowed to do this! Especially in covid times.Absolutely criminal company with a finance department of dictators who are happy to withdraw vital heat and hot water during a cold spring for the small sum of £23. Despite my regular payments and despite my ringing them to explain the money would be paid shortly.

Very poor answering the phone.

Do not order gas from this company guy I spoke to four times in the Weston-Super-Mare office told me they would deliver but never did.left cold with no heating or hot water in bad snow what a bunch of ass holes hope u r niceandwarm with you heating on AVANTI GAS

Drove there to get a refill no one there said it was open on website

Simply one of the worst organisations I have ever had to deal with. I have only ever had two orders with them, and they couldn't have made a worse job on both of them. In fact, I am still waiting (5 weeks and counting) for my latest order.They promise text alerts, email notifications in advance of delivery slots. Then they cancel deliveries or just turn up. Which is HUGELY helpful when you need to be in to allow access, and you're in Essex when they ring you outside your gate....Their customer service is UTTERLY DREADFUL, they spell my name wrong on most emails. Promise things then don't deliver, and fail to reply on occasions. I seem to have two accounts open with them too. For some reason.Honestly. If you need gas - do not use Avanti Gas LTD - find another supplier. If you have to use Avanti Gas, stock up on electric kettles and hot water bottles as you're gonna need them!
