I have parked in line with other cars. I was the only one receiving a fine for obstructing footpath". there was no footpath. I have paid that fine as I wanted to forget about this scam and enjoy rest of my holiday. Greedy council

This is not the car park actually, its about 2 miles before you reach the car park. Nice views of the loch and the Old man of storr in the backdrop

Old Man of Storr Car Park
We arrived around 17:00 on a Sunday and had no issue getting a parking spot right next to the trail. Hiking at this time was lovely as well - no crowds and less sun exposure. You can pay for parking with card or coin and there is a decent toilet at the car park.
