Colliers Wood Dry Cleaners

I gave them 1 star because is the minimum but I wish I could give them -5...I took my £200 Michael Kors Jacket for cleaning to them since I didn't want to wash it at home and risk damaging it. Well they shrunk it by 1 size, is not wearable for me anymore and they wouldn't take any kind of responsability for it.They would argue that they followed the label's instructions and that it most be the jacket was faulty..... So I told them to at least refund me the £22 I payed for getting my jacket damaged and they refused.... they said it costed us time and money to clean it".... like if I just found the money to buy the jacket under my bed and didn't work for it.So conclusion I lost my jacket and the £22 I payed them to damage it

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE THEY ARE THE WORST SERVICE. They said an alteration would be be done and it was not done at the time . On top of that the boss was very rude!!! I have never experienced a customer service like this DO NOT USE THEM .

It's a local joke, not a dry cleaning shop. DO NOT USE!

Terrible! The service has gone down dramatically! Firstly was unable to do the alterations although they said that they could, then said co ordinator said they would steam my dress for £10 and confirmed this over the phone then when I arrived the same shop assistant lied and put the price up and said he said a different quote over the phone - basically lied and kept changing the price, No apology or anything really really bad customer service lacked basic skills.Prior to this I had been using this dry cleaners for many years but I will not not be returning nor will I recommend.

DO NOT USE! Ignorant, appalling, very rude and dreadful attitude! I returned to the shop to collect my dress I wanted altered. They put the stitching in the wrong place and would not take liability for it. When putting across my concern they were sniggering in their response!

I brought jeans in to repair a rip on a Monday. They insisted I pay for cleaning as well as repair even though the jeans were freshly laundered, so they charged me £22. They said they would be ready Friday, I returned Friday, they said after 6, I returned at 639, they said Saturday etc etc. The jeans were not ready for me until the following Friday

Very bad service, I took my jeans for alterations they kept saying my jeans wasn’t ready, This went on for weeks, I turned up to the shop one day, the person behind the till said they couldn’t find the jeans. I noticed my jeans on the side and told the lady the jeans are my jeans, she became very rude and refused to give me my jeans. I eventually spoke to a different member of staff in the shop And he was happy to return my jeans to me but the alterations was not done on the jeans, I told this member of staff about the previous rude employee but He did not take this seriously and thought it was funny.I wasted all my time going backwards and forwards to the shop and not getting the repair done.I would not recommend this dry cleaners.

Unfortunately, this dry cleaner is not able to press trousers correctly. They do exactly the same as every other dry cleaner and press trousers with a steam press that leaves marks on the outside and inside leg.The seam allowances shows through and the trousers are steamed too uch and become shiny. It ruins the appearance of smart trousers, particularly wool or silk. Fabrics should be treated individually not all the same.I'm not able to upload photos which is a shame. Where the leg seam and hem meet, I have a lovely cross in the trousers. Very badly done.

ABSOLUTELY ABYSMAL SERVICE - PLEASE AVOID!Was given incorrect details when I made enquiries about alterations and dry cleaning of a school blazer I needed back the following day. When I called to make enquiries about the progress of my request, the shop couldn’t locate my garment so i went there directly and to collect it after hearing the manager of the store shout at me over the phone and telling me to stop harassing the store. Upon arriving there to collect the blazer, the manager immediately started to shout at me and one of the employees decided involved in this argument and said I should just ‘f-off’ and called me a ‘pu**y’ as I was leaving the store. Truly appalling service as a first time customer and should be reported.

I took my Tunic to have Sergeant stripes sewn on the sleeves a few years ago. With the Queens Funeral this week I took my Tunic in to another dry cleaners as I have moved from Colliers Wood and asked them to remove the stripes as I recently have been promoted to the next rank. The tunic is ruined instead of sewing them on they glued them!!! It’s now Sunday!! The Tunic is not fit for purpose now! I have had this Tunic for 17 years. We don’t get issued new ones now
