We would put zero stars if we could.Contracted for a 6wk landscaping job in March 2021.Oversaw installation of patio doors as part of the overall landscaping works, did not replace damp proof course which resulted in flooding into our property.2yrs 4months later they still have not finished the work contracted.We’ve finally (2yrs later) had the damage to our property fixed (albeit they’ve now damaged a number of sockets and still not replaced), but we still have piles of rubbish left outside our house (this is marginally better than the full stinking skip they left for a year!) … Astro turf in bits that needs replacing and outstanding woodwork to be finished.1day work left and they still can’t turn up, despite constant promises and assurances.We couldn’t use our garden for the past 2yrs but they happily and consistently deprioritise us for bigger paying jobs.Zero respect, zero attention to detail.Avoid at all costs.

Update November 2023. Had some other people in to look at the mess Jeff and Limelight left behind and they found several bodge jobs, such as our steps only half filled with type 1 causing the slabs to sink and just sand shovelled in on top of soil underneath the artificial turf which would also cause it to sink and move. Seen Jeff has recently turned the Limelight office into a coffee shop and he also appears to have started up a new company called Lime:Ldn Ltd presumably to try and hide from carnage he’s left behind.Update October 2023. No further word from Jeff or limelight, have been blocked on WhatsApp which was main method of communication. They have left us with no choice but to pursue formal action against them for breach of contract.Have added photos of some of the mess they have left behind outside my house.Original review End of August 2023.Jeff promised to fit our new turf and finish remaining works at the end of July, he didn’t turn up (yet again) citing not enough staff available to lay the turf. Since then a month has gone past and no word from him. He hasn’t answered a single message or answered a single call.I rue the day we contracted this company. While they started off when they said they would back in 2021 and all seemed good it went downhill within about a month as soon as anything bigger and more lucrative came along and we have been shoved to the bottom of the priority list again and again. Jeff was hardly ever on site to oversee things meaning no project management and we have been the ones to suffer as a result. We wanted the renovation done in order to make our garden safe and enjoyable for our baby and Jeff/Limelight have ruined it. I am not exaggerating when I say that the stress caused by them has almost caused the breakup of our family.I have dealt with some pretty terrible companies in my time but Limelight are without doubt the worst by a long long way.

Jeff and the Limelight team completely refurbished our house and garden to a great standard. The team were reliable, honest, hard working, professional and highly skilled. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Limelight for your home project however large.
