Fantastic chippy, we love the fish and chips, but my fave is the mixed chicken kebabs - just delicious! Always service with a friendly smile!

Visited this chip shop again, after a few months, but the fish and chips were not as nice as they used to be. They hardly put any salt and vinegar on either.Don't know if it has changed owners but won't be visiting again.

Just recently discovered this chip shop as new to the area and it certainly didn't disappoint. Beautiful cod (I'm really fussy when it comes to the fish!) and a good portion of chips. Really lovely couple who own it. It will definitely be my regular chippy!

Lovely people and great service, love their fish and chips.Regular chips is a really good portion. Also, love the way they wrap the fish around a plastic wrapper and then paper. That way the fish doesn't stick to the paper.

Wow.. hadn’t been back here in a long time and now I’m wondering why not. We ordered fish & chips, doner kebab and doner burger. Chips were made in fresh oil tasted amazing, doner meat tasted great and the price for quality food was very reasonable. Thank you guys, I could see everyone was under pressure because it was busy but trust me people will wait for quality, I’ve been in the food industry for over 20 years and with experienced staff and good teamwork things will become much easier, sometimes you just need to let them get on with it. Keep it up and I’ll see you soon x

I have shopped at Nicos Fish Bar on numerous occasions. The service is always slow but the food is usually good so I put up with the wait. I'm talking about waiting half an hour after paying! Yesterday I was waiting fory order which was half made up then left on the side while the assistant went on to take someone else's order! I had to ask them to put it in the warmer so it didn't get cold. When it came back to finishing my order, they got the pack out of the warmer then reached behind to collect the wrapped fish off the counter behind the serving hatch, god knows how long it had sat there. I was very disappointed with the service yesterday! Along side this I have never been in the shop where the owner (female) has not dressed down members of staff Infront of customers. This is not a good quality! Staff members, whether family or not should be taken away from the public if you need to tell them off for something.

I ordered fish and chips from here and kebab. The fish and chips was the best I've ever had in my life. Everything was fresh. There was a bit of a wait time but to be honest I should have mentioned on the phone earlier I live above a shop so I can be tricky to find. The food was nicely wrapped and hot upon arrival.

I went to Nicos and ordered a donner wrap and chips with a can of coke, the meat was probably the best meat I've ever had! So fresh, salad was cut fresh in front of me and the meat was thick and juicy!!! Such a pleasant experience and the staff are absolutely amazing!! Will definitely eat here again!! If I could give 10 stars I would
