Staff doing their best but premises now far to small for the number of customers. The staff are constantly having to search for medicines in a very confined space.old and Ill people queuing up for long periods outside in the cold and rain. The shop is not exactly disabled friendly as there is no room. The people of Merckinch and the staff deserve better

Absolutely shocking service. Closing door for an hour for their lunch without informing public or putting up signs saying they will be closed for an hour. Neither on the door or website. Try to phone them and they will ignore phone calls too. Response from stuff youll get is via closed door and with stinking attitude, waving hands shouting she's on lunch and doesn't care. Hope this gets to management and will be dealt with as soon as possible.

They didn’t give me medication because they didn’t get approved from GP . But when I call GP they said everything is approved.they didn’t have that medicaments

Not like when it was run by charlie forbes days .Staff are friendly enough however problems with prescriptions going missing numerous times with numerous locals or saying its not in when it is?I dont know who ownes it now but since the late chaie forbes passed away and andrew green left place was never the same.

On December 23, I got a prescription for an antibiotic for my son. 4× 5 ml a day for 10 days. I went to fill my prescription at Rowlands in Grand St. The pharmacist who gave me the antibiotic said that he is giving me 7 days at the moment due to the expiration date and I have to come back on 29/12 for the last 3 days. Later it turned out that the pharmacist made a mistake and gave my son an antibiotic for 5 days. The antibiotic will run out on 27/12 at night and my son missed one dose. I must to call for help for out of hours"So I ask the question... why does someone who doesn't know math work in a pharmacy?"

I'm surprised. Never before have i wrote a review for a pharmacy. The young staff lack the medical professionalism required to work in pharmaceutics. Giggling like children and unable to do the work independently. Requiring help from senior staff at every interaction. I had been asked 4 times if I had been seen yet everyone who saw me being served first time. If that wasn't confusing enough, I was shouted at over the other people in the store and made to feel small. From a medical background if I saw any staff behaving in such a way, it would not be accepted.They're not keen to help your pain management or with stock that's available behind covid barriers which I tried to ask about and was given one option at an extortionate price. I wish I had the opportunity to see what else was there as I really need help.Their regular delivery staff broke covid regulations putting customers at risk breaking the limit to people in a shop floor. In such a small pharmacy it was claustrophobic and I shouldn't have to ask for a delivery driver not to touch me. They barged past with no verbal warning.Go to tesco. It's cheaper

Use this pharmacy for various pharmaceutical items as and when required and have always found them considerably less expensive than the large national chains. Whenever I've asked for advice from the pharmacist they've always been very helpful and obliging. I struggled with balance issues a while ago and the assistant recommended a product which made life bearable and I was extremely thankful for her help. Always found all the staff helpful and kind.
