the ron experience is something that everyone should try once at least then you will understand the enthusiasm and effort that our local fishing tackle shop owner puts into each customers visit lol.. ron as far as i can remember has in 31years of service to our anglers, been fishing himself once .... he is always clued up on where to fish, what bait works what to catch it with, all this whithout being the keen angler you would expect him to be having all this knowlage.. just goes to show how much attention he gives every customer and the memory he has for the passing of tips and pointers .... i have always been happy with the service i have got but ron old chap a smile doesnt cost a pound a pound u tight git lol... i been coming to u 32years now and never have you charged me full price for what i have bought even if it was just a pint of maggots u still drop 20pence off the price.. thankyou mate i will call again......

Heavily over priced.If your a new angler then in personal advice is good but if you know what your doing then just order off amazon. You save much more money.

A great little tackle shop situated just on the outskirts of Neath town.The chap who owns the place (sorry don't know his name) was so friendly and helpful. He knew what he was talking about and when asking questions about what tackle/bait/lures etc he was able to answer each one.

Good selection inside. Shame the opening times are wrong on Google. States on Google opening hours on a Saturday were between 9:30am till 9:15pm.Was looking to see if anywhere was open to buy bait at 7:15pm (I know a bit late haha) but it came up bait & tackle was open.So left my house in swansea to go all the way to neath to find the shop was closed and in the window States 9am till 5pm. Gutted.So ended up in a supermarket to buy mackerel.

I returned to start fishing this week after a good many many years absence. So thought I would go to this local shop to find out what tackle is about, permits needed and where to and not to go. Got so say the owner of this shop was was very help full. Give me pointers on where to go locally and for what fish. What bait was best in certain areas. Also talked me out of spending on this and that, convincing me to use the methods I had used 30 odd years before. I will be returning to this shop. You cannot beat local knowledge, given in a friendly manner.
