Golden Valley Llamas

My three-year-old son and I went on a lovely walk with owner Robert and two of his llamas a couple of days ago. It was a really wonderful experience for both of us. Highly recommended!

Lovely and friendly, it's evident how much they love their llamas! They also sell their homemade wares including rugs which are extremely well priced especially given all the work that goes into the production.

Llama trekking undersells it, Llama experience is more like it!You get to spend time with the llamas, groom them, bond a bit and then go on a trek.Robert is a really friendly host, knows so much about keeping llamas and clearly very passionate about them. The trek was a lovely long walk up to the common, around and back and lasted well over an hour. Not rushed for time at all. The llamas are really well trained, easy going and super friendly. They are full of individual character and let you into their herd. Even after the walk we spent more time with them as they came back into the herd and didn’t feel like we were ever rushed. Also bookings are never shared so you get full interaction with the animals throughout. Cannot recommend the experience or host enough.

We had so much fun walking and interacting with the llamas. They’re all incredibly well trained and the team really make you feel at ease. You really get your moneys worth with the walking route, with stunning views to top it all off! Thank you so much, we had the best time!

I renamed my Llama 'Mofo the Rollagirl' for our treck. Had the best time (date for two 'adults'.)The host was great, he seemed to speak Llama-language. We became at one with the Llamas which is exactly what I wanted. Five stars. Thanks Robert and Mofo!

I would like to say a big THANKYOU to Robert and Amanda, I organised a hen party trip to hereford and we visited the llamas and it was incredible. The bride cried with joy! We began by meeting the llamas and haltering them. We then groomed them and took them for a walk around the countryside. It was beautiful. Amanda and Robert were so kind and taught us so much. We then went back to the farm where Amanda made us all tea and we ate her lemon cake (delicious!!) .The llamas are such lovely animals and full of joy- u can see they are spoilt by Amanda and Robert and very happy. We all enjoyed it so much I would very much be eager to visit again!Kindest regards to you both! Ushma

Sorry this review is so late. My mum and I had a wonderful trek last August (told you it was late!), as a Christmas present from my sister. Rollright, Stonehenge and Carnac did a suberb job of helping their 2 leg, Robert introduce us to the wonderful world of llamas and show us around beautiful Ewyas Harold

Highly recommend Golden Valley Llamas! We had the most wonderful experience grooming, feeding and walking the llamas under Robert’s excellent tuition. Such beautiful and friendly animals. We can’t wait to visit again

The Llamas are so woolly and soft, and the owners are so friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell they really love their animals and treat them well.

Had a great time on the llama trek today, we had Hazelton, Tintagel and Annie who were all lovely and really we enjoyed the trek route and talking to Robert on the way around! Thank you for a wonderful experience :)
