As a business owner myself I look for other companies who reflect my business ethos - Service with integrity. Having been recommended Dave at the Car work shop from a close friend I had high expectations, which were exceeded on all accounts.Dave provided me a fast and honest service at a competitive price and was able to identify faults in the work which had be previously been carried out by my local Honda Dealership.I wouldn't hesitate to use Dave again and will be using him for all my future automotive needs.Thanks again for the 5* service.

Absolutely spot on. Unfortunately broke down late at night with an engine malfunction issue. The following morning I gave Dave a call and he got the car in, found the issue and repaired it all in a couple hours. Top bloke giving great service from start to finish, I can’t praise this garage and Dave enough. If you need a trust worthy garage, this is your place.

Fantastic service from Dave. My classic MK1 MX5 project car needed to be ready for my daughters prom at short notice. Dave MOT’d it and carried out some minor repairs that were needed to pass, one being a snapped coil spring which was no mean feat with 32yo bolts! Dave kept me informed throughout and the charges were very reasonable. Made my daughters day, I can’t thank you enough.I recommend Dave and The Car Workshop to anyone who needs a helpful, friendly, trustworthy mechanic.

Booked my car in to The Car Workshop, Dave confirmed the booking and said he would collect the car at 9:30am. At 9:29 he arrived, I gave him the keys and also mentioned to him a very annoying rattle that was present since I Purchased the car. By 13:30 my cat was back on the drive and Dave had also located and fixed the rattle. Turns out it was a loose screw in the overhead light. Can highly recommend and will use again. Thanks Dave, it was a pleasure to meet you and I'm grateful you found the noise :-)

Dave worked late into the evening to complete the repair on my car's aircon and also persevered in finding the cause of a water leak. VW specialists thought it needed a new rear seal, but Dave traced the leak to the light units. Would highly recommend and will be using again.

Honestly, Dave is an absolute genius. He fixed a mysterious noise on my Toyota which no-one else had managed to sort out. I had spent many hundreds of pounds at other garages but no-one could work out the cause of the noise. I took the car to Dave and he dropped everything to spend two hours with me getting to the root of the problem. I couldn't believe it when he managed to sort it out. He only wanted to charge me for an hour's work but I insisted on paying for the two hours he'd spent. A problem which had been going on for two years was sorted in a couple of hours for a little over £100. Thank you Dave!! :-)
