Considering this park is not only sponcered by Southampton City Council but the ice House also there is a third sponcer but the upkeep is serverly lacking the amount of rubbish in the pond is way below exeptable standered.How can you expect the people using the pond to care if its sponcers don'tNo pride in Briton anymore

Shirley Pond Park
A small park with a fishing pond. Sadly the pond has been neglected due to Council cuts! Could do with some TLC. In the park is Southampton Cycle Speedway Club facility. Hardly any races occur due to the lack of riders which is a shame as it was once a thriving sporting venue. To gain access for parking is via Warren Crescent then Stokes Road.

The pathways were kinda muddy but it's worth getting a little dirt on ya feet for this lovely little view

It's a lovely peaceful place to go have a picnic or to have quiet time away. Lovely little space by the pond for the kids to run around and play.

Very nice. Bit muddy but isn’t everywhere at the moment. Nice greyhound with muzzle and lovely lurcher. Up the sighthound crew!!
