Sam restored our very basic but very loved kitchen table. After years of daily use it was certainly in need of some work. I’m now delighted that it’s better than new and am happy to recommend Sam for any woodwork projects.

We had a 20 year old Ducal pine table which seemed a shame to replace when we redecorated so I looked for someone who might be able to upcycle. Contacted Sam who is a very professional and kind young man who has done a perfect job of repainting/staining the table which now looks so beautiful. Would highly recommend Sam!!

Two places told me it would be impossible to remove some stubborn stains from my one-year-old and terribly overpriced kitchen table. But Sam managed to do it! Fantastic job, can't see the stains at all now. I was very impressed with Sam's attention to detail and by how carefully he works. He made absolutely no mess, and was very generous with his time and advice on how to keep the table looking good. He shared his recommended products, explaining why he likes a particular brand and with such conviction, I wouldn't hesitate to buy. But I trust Sam's top workmanship far more than my own! Very happy.

Sam has just completed an excellent job for me on two dining room chairs. Both were wobbly, due to weak joints, and one had a cracked leg. I searched the internet and was very impressed by Sam's website. I left the chairs on Monday and Sam contacted me two days later to say they would be available for collection on Thursday! They are now as solid as a rock, and any sign of a crack is hard to find. His description of his work assured me he is a true craftsman, and most professional. I have no doubts about asking him to repair other items of furniture, should the need arise, and I firmly recommend him to others in need of such help.

Sam did an amazing job repairing our coffee table (pictured before and after below). It was a piece of furniture that had real sentimental value, so I'm very grateful to him. I would definitely go back to him again if I had any other furniture that needed restoring. He was very professional, always came back to me quickly and takes great care in the work that he does.

Sam restored my organ bench which had become unsteady/wobbly after many years of use. Now it feels steady as a rock, and it is a pleasure to be able to sit and play the organ again!

Sam repaired one of my Mahogany chairs that belongs to a dining suite. The chair had gone terribly wobbly. As I needed it by the weekend for dinner guests, Sam put its repair on higher priority and I got the chair back repaired two days after! Excellent workmanship. I will come back to Sam for future repair work now that I know I have a local wooden furniture repairer! Keep it up, Sam.

I inherited a hand carved walnut Kashmiri coffee table from my late mother. The wood was bleached, there were some cracks and the legs were very wobbly (as you can see from the first photo). Sam did the most amazing restoration job and the table now looks as good as I remember it when she first bought it so thank you very, very much Sam!
