Very knowledgable, we were very open to ideas on how we wanted our garden to look and the team did a great job providing us with design ideas before carrying out the task. After contacting a total of four builders to give us a quote for some major renovations, we decided to go with Jake and his team at Spectre Construction. He stuck to all the prices he quoted, turned up on time, and kept us informed of everything as he went along, as with a lot of projects we changed our minds about certain aspects but Jake and his team took it all in their stride and gave us good advise. The disruption during the whole project was kept to a minimum, and at the end of each day he tidied up and made our house look as good as possible during such a big project. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jake and his team at Spectre Construction, when you spend a large amount of money on a project, you want it done properly and professionally and we didn’t go wrong with Jake. Spectre Construction did a FANTASTIC job of converting our disused garage into part of the house, as a sound-proofed recording studio - in addition to removing an internal wall to open up the living space. Top quality work, excellent value and a pleasure to have working on site. Extremely well organised and on time every day without fail. Cannot recommend Jake and his team highly enough.

Where to start. A single storey extension, wall removal, kitchen fit and finishing touches all administered to a high quality finish. Jake and his team worked tirelessly to get the job completed within 7 weeks! The project was completely hassle and stress free, managed by Jake. No complaints here and will certainly be having them back for any other big projects.

incredible service and professionalism!i called Spectre Construction with a vague idea of what i needed, looking for a plympton based builder. i spoke to Jake who was extremely helpful and the same evening came round for a discussion and look over what i needed. His knowledge on what was required left me knowing the job would be done correctly and to a high standard, his quote was competitive and detailed listing everything so i was at a full understanding of what i was paying for. He and his worker arrived on time every day until the job was completed, seeing the progress each time i arrived home again was great to see. We contacted Spectre Construction as we wanted a lot of work carried out throughout our ground floor.This was a garage conversion into a bedroom, putting in a new downstairs bathroom and kitchen. Jake listened to our ‘wants’ and was able to give us good advice and new ideas.His quote listed everything room by room and we could see what we were paying for.Even when we asked Jake to do extra work, artificial grass lawn, new fence and gate he was not fazed by this.We now have a fantastic ground floor and garden all finished to a high standard, and would recommend Jake and his team to anyone, hardworking, honest, experienced and professional.
