Half Pints
My daughter has been attending Half Pints now for a couple of years and I couldn't have asked for a better provision. Her educational, social, emotional and physical needs have all been met and she has had so much fun long the way. Half Pints have always shown a genuine interest in her life outside of the provision and supported her activities by giving advice and guidance and building activities around her interests. I would reccomend Half Pints fully! x

Amazing. We have been blown away by Half Pints. The staff were brilliant and demonstrate a great interest in child development. Half Pints puts vocation and care before business.Half Pints child provision and education is second to none. They really do care and invest a huge effort in each child as an individual. They really do get to know and understand their children as if the children are their own. Each day ends with parental a mini debrief in what your child has been up to and its all evidenced with a password protected pictorial website.Sadly our time with them has come to an end. And what an end!A graduation day with all the bells and whistles. Held conveniently on a Saturday - and i am sure this is purely voluntary as there cannot be any funding available - an entirely free half day of certificate presentation, bouncy castle, lunch (for adults too!) cake (made by talented staff), a choreographed dance routine on a makeshift stage and more! All held under a gazebo in their garden, accompained by generous amount of fizz.Greeted by a red carpet, parents sat under gazebo awaiting the show, munching popcorn - served by the children - and sipping proseco - served by a volunteer. Each child was introduced with a wonderfuly written speech, individually tailored to reflect that childs personality and acheivements at Half Pints, and an educated guess at each child's future aspirations - only adults that have really got to know the children could have done this so well. Some tears were shed, but that was okay as tissues, presented in hand crafted superhero figures, were issued very sweetly, by the children, prior to the presentation. The event was superhero themed - as chosen by the children - and wonderfully decorated by the children and staff. Then lunch were the children sat with each other, waited on by staff while the adults were treated to nibbles and a poster presentations that captured the personality and activities of each child during their time at Half Pints. After Lunch and pudding came a very special cake that was so professional they mustve paid a forture to some cake shop - nope; home-made by one of the tlaented staff members. If all that wasnt enough (and I stress there cannot be any funding for any of this so it must be all paid for by them and voluntary) the children were waived off with tears of staff that care and a goodie bag reminder. The amount of effort put into this was more than incredible, and is a reflection of how much the staff of Half Pints really love the children in their charge.A day of razzle dazzle! And Im sure its something that each of those children will be able to look back on with great fondness. They have been given the best foundation possible, enabling them all to start big school with confidence, and i submit, more than an edge over new school mates who were not so fortunte to attend Half Pints. Big school has a lot to live up to!We will miss them, and hold just a little pang of jealousy for their lucky new arrivals.Thankyou:)

My daughter Josie started at HALF PINTS in 2017 when she was 2. I highly rate this nursery as it really is one of a kind. The staff are all amazing and really take excellent care and pride in there role to look after teach and most importantly have fun! They take the kids out and about sometimes so there learning about the outside world which I think is brilliant. I’m so happy with Josie’s progress she’s learnt so much since being at Half Pints and continues to thrive. When Josie is at Half Pints I know she’s safe and very well looked after. She’s always happy going and loves her time there. Josie loves the meals too she said there ‘very Tasty’. Half Pints for me is fantastic! The Best! I wouldn’t want my daughter to be in any other nursery, I could go on! So Thank you all at Half Pints keep up the hard work!Theresa x

My son attended Half pints from 9 months old and he loved it from day one. Staff are great and keep you informed of your child’s development. They always go on lots of trips and get out and about a lot. Would definitely recommend.

We highly recommend Half Pints Child Care! The staff are incredibly caring and attentive, creating a warm and nurturing environment for all children. The facility is well-maintained, and the activities provided are engaging and educational. Our 2-year-old son loves going there, and we feel confident leaving him in their capable hands.

This nursery is the best, they don't have many children in, so they spend loads of quality time with your child. They have taught my daughter so much before starting school, she can write words and numbers. She has learnt so much since being here. Just sad she starts school this year, so she won't get to be with them any longer. They take them out and about all the time, so they get so many new experiences, from food shopping to the space Centre, and many park trips, with ice creams, and the odd cake treat. The food is spot on, and they go to so much effort all the time. The staff are so switched on, and you can tell they love their job. I've experienced other nurseries and this ones far superior.

Grace began at half pints back in April 2017, she was shy and had some separation anxiety but half pints dealt with this delicately and in time Grace overcame this.. today she is an extremely confident happy little girl which we owe a lot of this to half pints.... The team as a whole are warm, kind, extremely professional and with a duty of care that is second to none... We as parents are very grateful for the amazing time Grace spent with them and we were very sad to see her leave, she is now starting big school with ambition and an eagerness to learn even more skills, which began with half pints. For this we thank you greatly.

Charlotte has only been going a month or so but seems to really enjoy it. She is comfortable to be left with the staff and i have never had to leave her there in tears. They are very accommodating and during this difficult time they tried to help as much as possible. Even though they are currently closed they are still sending us things to do to keep encouraging our childrens development. I would definitely recommend.
