Though not a beach person but sometime feel like visiting somewhere different. So here at this beach its good that its just by the city. You dont need to walk too much from your park space. Great view, food and a good quick place to relax your mind.

For me was the best beach that I have been in England until now! I love the fact that is sand, it is very organised and toilet everywhere. Around there are many parking and you can find a lot different shops, restaurants, ice cream shops. There are nice because you have choice. Also for kids they have pier, that you can enjoy and eat! Even Tesco and other supermarkets are not to far! Also accessories to beach as kids toys and umbrellas!

Lovely place, nice sandy beach, lovely lifeguards, spacious. Very wide variety of food available from all sides of beach within a few yards albeit pricey, so would recommend a nice, big packed lunch and drinks for the rest of the day even if you do enjoy a meal at one of the eateries to hand. We had fish & chips as it was only befitting, being at the seaside! Overall, had a wonderful and memorable day with my family, even though we didn't utilise all the attractions.Washrooms in the restaurants, clean and maintained.We witnessed quite a few surfers, as we came from far away I am unsure if that is usually the case, but I imagine so.The beach was clean. Would definitely visit again.

The best beach in the UK! Gold sand and nice people! Definitely need to book a parking space before coming. No wonder why UK people choose to live Bournemouth after retirement!

There won't be anything you don't know about this beach.However, Bournemouth beach is also Poole beach - it's all one thing, about EIGHT MILES (12.8 Km) of soft sand. The pier areas are busiest, and B'mth pier itself quite trashy.Venture Eastward to Southbourne and things get calmer. Venture SW to the Poole beaches and the whole feeling changes for the better.
