I needed a test to check for the possibility of glaucoma, and chose Oculus in Norwich due to the good reviews.It's been a while since my last eye test, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but Jeff and his staff immediately put me at ease. I would definitely come here again!

I was visiting Norwich and had lost my glasses case. I went into Oculus to buy a replacement and instead, the owner gave me a case and lense cloth and he cleaned and tightened my glasses for me - all for free! I was incredibly touched. We had a chat and he seems a very genuine, kind man. Also, the glasses frames I saw on the displays were really cool. If I lived near Norwich, I would definitely go there.

Lovely place lovely service. Went in with an eye injury and was seen straight away. Everyone was very helpful, set me at ease when I was a bit stressed and they had everything I needed available. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could!!!

I received a 5 star treatment at Oculus. Very friendly and professional. The optician takes his time to listen, explain and advise accordingly. If you want a practitioner that loves his job and goes the extra mile then look no further. I strongly recommend them especially after being let down by a high street optician.

What a gem! I had run out of contact lenses and was about to go on holiday. I simply got in touch with the team at Oculus who spoke to me on the phone before transferring my enquiry to email to help remedy my predicament so I could send them my prescription. A couple of clicks later I was able to pop into their boutique opticians and pick up some lenses to tied me over. The team were super helpful and efficient and I will definitely be returning! Dealing with Oculus, in my experience, was much easier than dealing with big chains such as Vision Express where you can't get through to a human being on the phone and usually have to wait for hours to be seen! 20/20!

SPECtacular!I have never really enjoyed the process of buying glasses as I have previously found this impersonal, I “settle” for frames as the choice and variety of frames is not as wide as I would like to see and any discussions feel transactional. I was recommended Jeff and the team and it’s the best advice I have ever been given when it comes to purchasing my glasses.From the minute I stepped into the shop just to look at frames I knew my needs would be met. Friendly attentive service, huge choice of unusual frames, my preferences being respected but suggestions being made, superb and honest advice regarding my choice of lenses and all at a price point the same as any high street chain optician I had been looking at.I have just collected my glasses today and love them! After care service including maintenance, cleaning and MOT explained and also above and beyond anything I have experienced before.If quality glasses with a wide choice of fantastic frames, value for money and exceptional personal service are important to you then you must pay the team a visit.

Jeff and his team were amazing with helping me choose the perfect glasses and sunglasses. As a reluctant glasses wearer, I am super fussy and had very particular requirements for hard-wearing glasses, suitable to wear while working with orangutans in the hot and humid jungles of Indonesia!I've been using my glasses now in the jungle for 6 months and they have been perfect. Jeff really thought about what I would need and together with his team, helped me find glasses not only suitable for the job, but also pairs that made me feel comfortable wearing them.Highly recommended and will definitely go back next time I'm in Norwich.

Oculus is just great. The frames available are wonderful and my sight is much sharper with the lenses they offer than anything i have had from previous opticians. Loads of help in picking frames. Massively impressed.

The home of the funkiest glasses, coolest optician and most helpful staff team ever. Great for me as I have extra needs which they cater for beautifully. Currently rocking some supercool starsky and hutch esque style frames but with warm light lenses and guess what the world looks kinder to me, true!

Jeff and the team were absolutely fantastic. From the welcome at the door to talking me through the entire process and to collection day, everything was perfect. They made trying on new glasses and fitting contact lenses a joy. They don’t hurry you and want you to feel comfortable and happy with your choices. The care I received here compared with high street opticians was professional and stellar. You can tell this is a boutique specialist: they really know their stuff. Never have I been happier with a glasses purchase. Only problem now is that I can’t stop wanting more! Would 100% recommend this retailer: an amazing experience.
