The Lonsdale Club

Went to a 21st in the function room. The music was very loud and the bass too high. However, as with most clubs, the members area look really good.

A friend's 60th had a good night

They sell excellent crisps. We went as our neighbours big band were playing but there was perhaps only twenty or so punters. The bar staff were very helpful though if you are seeing a turn in the function room then the noise from the bar area does come through quite loud. It kind of reminds me of an old working men's club but the facilities were actually very well kempt and I would be happy to go again as the drinks were very good value indeed. It is a club but you don't need to be a member to go there. They've a bowling green too but I can't say whether or not it's decent. I didn't have a roll on it.The entrance is down a driveway in a very residential area where you wouldn't expect there to be a social club

Went in to enquire about hire of function room. Really helpful chap, Steve I think , helped us and explained prices and such.Looks like a well run and patronised clubWorth a vist and we will be joining soon

Excellent function room with friendly staff.

Had a fabulous time bowling with friends and the club house is very friendly and clean well stocked bar .will recommend to other people for bowling

Great location, lots of parking space, friendly bar staff. I would recommend this place for a small gathering or event.

A lovely warm welcome on entering the club and the bar staff was so friendly , had a fantastic night out !

Went to a birthday party, medium sized hall with stage and clean bathrooms. Would defo recommend as a booking venue
