Vets4Pets - Chadwell Heath

The service from the vets has been good so far. Receptionist not so great at all times. For example the time before last I came in they only gave me one set of de-flea and worming medication when I have 2 cats. When I then called up they said it can take 2-4 weeks to get it in the post. I feel like the subscription service maybe a bit of a scam where if you don’t collect it, you’re still charged. Either way I’m not happy how the receptionist dealt with it, but other than that the vets are lovely and the care for the animals is great.

Have used this vet for years now but my recent experiences have been disappointing. Over the years, I had noticed little hiccups here and there, like nails not being cut even though I’d paid for that service but I dismissed it as honest mistakes given the experience was generally pleasant. Most recently I’ve been coming regularly for monthly cat flea treatment. This month I was told I could come and collect treatment on a particular day but was refused treatment upon arrival. They said it was because my cats needed to be seen by the vets first (which is fine if that’s a requirement) but nobody informed me of this clause coming up and now I’m left without treatment after spending hundreds of pounds working to break the flea cycle in my house. I explained nobody told me this and that when I even spoke to someone the day before, they failed to inform me. It made no difference. Instead I’ve been asked to bring the cats for health-checks that have doubled in price since our last trip and will likely have to manage another flea outbreak in the house in the meantime. This is a very costly and time consuming process. The service at this branch has gone down over the years and it’s a real shame given how caring and supportive the original team I met was.

They didn’t have keys to open up as someone was on a day off, this led to a lot of disruption and communication. Lack of care for my pet and they didn’t process my care plan despite me booking requesting one for my puppy and again speaking to the vet, they have then bombarded me with requests for payment despite me having a care plan. The lady chasing works from home so again the communication between the branch and the person chasing money is non existent

Always helpful, always friendly, and they try to fit you in for an emergency. Have used them since 2013 and never had any issues. Wish they would bring back puppy classes as that was always a great way for pups to meet before their walks in the park. They answer their web form 1st thing in the morning if you ask an out of hours question. Highly recommended. Give them a go.

We usually go to the Dagenham one and the staff there are racist and clearly favour White customers and are rude to my husband and I EVERY TIME we go, but will change tone in front of us whenever we approach the desk.The Chadwell Heath branch is professional, can manage appointments and schedules well, Dr Zainab(?) is officially our favourite vet - and we've had multiple positive experiences here. Thank you for providing a great service to pet owners like us, it really takes the stress out of things like vaccines/worms etc

Opens at 8:30, and I got here at that time but got left outside for 20mins, knocking and ringing the bell. When a queue started the receptionist suddenly appeared from where she was hiding behind the counter to unlock the door. I wouldn’t usually write a review, but I’m obviously heavily pregnant and physically can’t handle standing to wait outside while the receptionist literally hides behind the counter ignoring the door. Also for anyone who needs the info, they don’t take Wild injured animals so it’s better to call someone like a wildlife centre, this vets only does euthanasia.

My usual Ilford branch was closed at the weekend so needed to take my cat to Chadwell Heath branch. Vet seems very caring, gentle, and patient. Would not hesitate to go there again if needed when my local branch is closed. A big thank you from Kylie and me.

So impressed with this vets. Reasonable prices and an incredibly caring team of vets and nurses. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else now!

If there were a no star rating that is what I would give , absolutely useless and asking for a manager to call you on 3 occasions was a joke still no phone call? I live in Suffolk and met a breeder at this vets who told me the health check was OK, 3 days later this 12 week puppy dies of pneumonia? We took this poor boy to our vets in Suffolk at 3.45am to tell us this sad news. The breederl who uses these vets when he sells his puppies unfortunately mine died within 5 days,The vet from vets4pets at Chadwell checked his heart rate and breathing then told me and the breeder that he had a small runney nose and sounding weezy but was not a big concern? but when I take him to our vets in Suffolk he may need antibiotics but at that time the vet did not even offer to prescribe them to me on that day? Unfortunately the puppy was rushed to an emergency vets hospital in Suffolk were he was fighting for his life for 3 nights but unfortunately died of pneumonia.Please check out these vets are qualified to support and give advice on your pets to me I was in shock after thinking of how this had happened.
