Milnathort Golf Club

An excellent test of golf for all abilities.The golf course is well maintained and in great condition.Some separate tees and greens as well if you decide once around is not enough, which it really isn't.Highly recommended for 9 or 18 holes.Welcoming atmosphere and friendly members.

Inter club match. Course was in excellent condition. Greens A1. Members made us very welcome. Great choice of food which was first class. Well worth a visit.

Played in SGU 9 HOLE competition. Big field of players and was a bit slow, however the course is fabulous, greens very slick, fairways not flat which gives it it's character.. Everyone was extremely pleasant and helpful. Well done. I will definitely go back.

I have been playing at this club for many,many years and I have to say that the course is just as good now as it was all those years ago.The clubhouse staff were very helpful and friendly.The place was very clean and tidy.We had a lovely game and will be back

I booked a tee time at this 9 hole course that had very good reviews . Firstly , this has a small village feel about it , everyone knows everyone , and there is definitely a feel of an older membership. I was welcomed by the lady in the clubhouse and there was a relaxed atmosphere. The course is in excellent condition and the greens are like carpets, very impressed. The Fairways are well maintained and there is double greens. There is no real hazards , but the flags and tees can cause a bit confusion , as at several holes the tees are different from front nine to back nine, remember this is a 9 hole course. The real issue I have is the fact it’s a 9 hole course, if busy , which it was, it’s hard to get off and as a single golfer, catching up with the 4 ball in front and the 2 ball behind. When you reach the 10th ( the 1st second time) there is the usual thing of who is next up , common on a 9 holes course. In conclusion, it’s another one of the golf course bucket list , but I would prefer to play the next time when quieter .

It's local, it's friendly, a golf club with no pretentions, just honest warmth, decency and a good sense of community. A distant view to Loch Leven from the clubhouse over the pretty course, great value and home cooking too! Love it, my kinda place, thank you Milnathort golf club.

Challenging 9 hole course with some additional tee and pin positions for 18. Good to be mostly playing off main tees bar 4 holes given recent weather. Fairways were in great condition and rough was not too thick. Greens have been recently sanded and were a bit fluffy.Only gripe was the greens staff while doing a great job didn't seem to bothered about starting work in line of play so had a few hold ups.Overall great course and just over 180 minutes for 18 holes.

Would , and should, have been good.Nice day and on tee 15 minutes before our time, watching a ladies 3 ball teeing off, as we later learned , on their second nine.We teed off on time with the fairway clear but, on our last player in a four group having teed off and with the ball still in the air, we were screamed at by a heavy set woman stomping onto the tee. Apparently , our trolleys were on the edge of the huge tee box, which was a global catastrophe. We duly removed them two feet out of respect, even though it seemed she would do more damage than our trolleys combined.Notwithstanding that, we were about to go to our balls (between 200 - 270 yards away) , when she demanded her group tee off as the ladies captain was behind." Not sure what the significance of that was. Without waiting for a reply

Great 9 hole course and friendly clubhouse will be back
