I have never met a more rude and arrogant person as the bailiff. I have never felt so infuriated after a conversation with somebody and then for him to just ignore you and for him to just walk off mid way through a conversation and to be about as helpful as a lamp post. I cannot believe they let him have this position and be so obnoxious to the public. Stay away from here or at least him.

Took my son here fishing, didn't even get 1 bite. Was nice and peaceful though watching all the wildlife out of the water.Didn't see anyone around, no one asked for permit or licence.

Not that clear how too pay in self service at all. Have too much information every where and not up too date to accept debt/credit cards. Saying fishing lodge is open but place locked up. Just useless if you need to ask a question about anything

When pike fishing with a friend and we didn't catch any fish that day. While we was waiting for a bite I saw a peregrine falcon fly by and land in a pine tree there's loads of crested grebes on the Reservoir along with large flocks of greylag geese the water there is Crystal Clear at the moment no fish caught at a nice day out we will try our luck again soon

We arrived for our first night of our 5 day trip but our trip was cut short when a man claiming to be the 'land owner' claimed we are breaking lake laws by fishing at night, when it is not clearly stated anywhere along the lake. He came into the conversation with an aggressive tone and refused to cooperate. We was going to purchase secondary tickets but before we were able to properly communicate that we was told to leave! He gave us 30 minutes to leave, even though we were following all the rules and were a paying customer.

Not a bad fishing spot but the guy who checks tickets are very rude and not polite at all!
