Please note elegance no longer do sewing machine services and repairs. We popped in this morning. They were very apologetic about it.

Went to buy sewing machine. Very helpful in helping me select one suitable for my needs. Ended up with a Janome 230 DC within budget and had an extension table to boot. They even helped wheel it down to the bus station for me. A really good experience all round. Thank you Elegance.Lynne

Great range for a little shop like this, and the ladies working there were absolutely lovely. Fair warning, they only accept card payments over £10, but when I didn't have enough cash on me for what I wanted they kept it at the counter while I went across the street to withdraw some at the cashpoint.

Elegance do sewing machine servicing and repairs and sell a wide variety of sewing machines. They also have a large selection of lovely knitting yarns and fabrics spread over 2 floors.

Very helpful and friendly staff. No pressure to buy but took the time to explain how the machine worked even though the shop was quite busy.Would feel comfortable ,if I had a problem, phoning and asking for advice.Great
