I called Alden Electrical on Tuesday 03/05/16 at 2pm re an electrical problem at home. They were very helpful and an Electrician called Sam arrived at my house within an hour and all was sorted by 3.30pm.Fantastic service.

Rang on Wednesday morning on the off chance that I could get an electrician in the same day. - having been let down by another electrician - no problem can get someone out to you later. - sure enough Chris duly arrived at about 3pm sorted out the three relatively small jobs (if you knew what you were doing). Left the property clean and tidy about an hour later. - great service - THANK YOU

APPRENTICES BEWAREMy son was unfortunately given a start with this company. Put with a different electrician every day. No mentoring, supervision or teaching involved, zero health and safety training, just left to get on with jobs he’d never done before then reprimanded for not getting it right. Electricians are dispassionate, unmotivated and unwilling to train apprentices. My son was left to tidy up on a job where he was left with a very dangerous substance that leaked onto customers paving slabs. Was lynched by the electrician he was working with and the boss and all of the blame put onto him. Absolutely no training, health and safety, warning or stipulation of how dangerous the substance he was working with was. Good job it didn’t get onto his skin!!! Electricians constantly moan about jobs and the company, wrong parts sent to jobs with huge time wasting at the customers expense. Don’t go near them if you want a positive, happy, safe, professional learning environment.

On Bank Holiday Monday, our RCD tripped and would not reset. No power, so no fridge/freezer, no heating etc..We texted and emailed to Steve at Alden Electrical that afternoon. At 08-20 on Tuesday, Steve rang to see if they could come to check the problem. 10 minutes later, two electricians arrived and within a short time had identified the faulty circuit and had most of our appliance running again.They then checked out each circuit in turn to be sure that was the only problem.We were very pleased with the rapid response.They are always very reliable and give an excellent service.

I used Alden Electrical to install my car charger, when I checked it after the installation, the plug unit was scuffed and scratched up! Their response was it’s only very superficial, it will not affect the operation of the charger!I hope Tesla don’t take the same attitude otherwise my car could arrive with scuffed and scratched bodywork, however obviously it wouldn’t be an issue as it would only be superficial and the car will still drive!Total disregard for a customers property!

Alden Electrical helped us out at very short notice, fitting a new socket into an area of wall in the process of being built. Had they not been able to help us it would have held up the building work. Much appreciated and we will use them again.

A very good job well done

Honestly do not use this company. Very disappointed. Price was given over the phone for a simple socket movement, about 30 cm. Invoice came through the post and they have doubled their prices. Stating they charge for traveling time. A simple £45 over the phone has now gone up to £92. on top of that damage was also caused.
