Nicely fitted out bar with a surprisingly good selection for such a small place and I think the only place here that offers cocktails. I tried a raspberry and rosemary spritz and it was absolutely delicious - a great addition to spark

Just went for drinks with my 2 friends - we are all 24 years old. One of my friends didn’t have her ID because who actually gets ID’d at 24???? My friend is clearly not under 18.Then on top of that they refused to refund the drinks we had already ordered on the app? They’re definitely scamming people this way. She had a picture of her ID and the wouldn’t even look at that.Why would they not ID us when we walked in? Very very disappointed - this is our first trip to York and we thought it would be a nice night out.

Just been to this bar. Was asked for ID after ordering on the app and paying (!) and found I didn’t have mine on me. Offered a photo of my ID (which could’ve been checked against my cards) but they refused. I then asked for a refund and they refused that too, saying they had a disclaimer on the app.I understand that they have a disclaimer but is it really that deep to not give a refund? Its fine to refuse service but rejecting a refund just seems deliberately unhelpful and obstructive. It would guarantee them repeat business if they were just a bit more forgiving. Clearly just them trying to scam every penny from their customers.
