Coastguard Cottages
Such a gorgeous place to visit. Little hidden gem. Turquoise sea, white cliffs. We even saw a seal swimming around

This place is absolutely stunning. The hike to this spot takes about 1.5hours depending on speed and rest time, but the views at the end is definitely worth the effort. You can continue to hike further to the seven sisters cliffs from here, just know that it’ll take another 6hours to complete the full hike.

A beautiful part of the Sussex coastline. Well worth a visit. Birling Gap and Belle Tout lighthouse can be seen in the distance.

Free car park is available. I recommend you to visit when it is low tide so that you can find some species.

The Coastguard Cottages are a set of historic cottages located near Seaford, East Sussex, England. They are situated on top of the famous Seven Sisters cliffs, which offer stunning views of the English Channel and the surrounding countryside. The cottages were originally built in the early 19th century to house coastguards who were responsible for preventing smuggling along the coast. The Seven Sisters cliffs and the surrounding area have been featured in several movies, including the 2019 film Summerland." The area is popular with filmmakers because of its dramatic scenery and natural beauty. It's great that I had the opportunity to be in one of the Coastguard Cottages! The cottages have been renovated and modernized while still retaining their historic charm. They offer stunning views of the cliffs and the sea

What an amazing view! Even if it is not in full sunshine (I was told that’s the best to bring out the true white of the cliffs). Nice little walk from the nearby car park.

Brilliant view of the Seven Sisters, Birling Gap and Belle Tout lighthouse. Easily accessible after short walk from local car park. Few facilities though.

Featured in films and adverts, the cottages should be familiar to many.Beyond the cottages is an outstanding view of the Seven Sisters and the Cuckmere Estuary.Well worth the hike from Seaford.

Stunning view of the Seven Sisters, just a 15 minute walk from South Hill Barn parking area. I've seen the iconic picture many times, from book covers to beer bottles, and it didn't disappoint when I finally managed to visit. Really stands out when the sun is low in the sky in early morning or late evening.

Coastguard Cottages
Very quaint seaside cottages that can be rented out as a holiday or weekend getaway that overlook the Cuckmere Estuary and the Seven Sisters Cliffs up to Birling Gap as well as the Western tip of Beachy Head Cliffs where you can see the old Belle Tout Lighthouse silhouetted again the blue sky on a clear day and grey sky if it is not clear, but a beautiful view all the same.
